My point is that if Harry had owed Kincaid a favor since Blood Rites then Harry wouldn't have a marker to pull in with Kincaid later, since the two would have cancelled out.

Yeah, it's sad. I get the sense that this may end up being even darker than Cold Days, if not as shocking. I don't really see Harry being allowed to take his posse on this one.

Thoughts: So, Mab's clearly been planning this one for a while. Nice the see the manipulative side come out; Harry was coming dangerously close to having something like control over his life at the end of Cold Days :P

Oh man, I dunno if you should be reading the Skin Game previews, then. Cold Days reveals a lot of stuff about the Dresdenverse. Important stuff.

Also plot twists. Big, important ones. Like, Changes big.

Yeah, Cold Day's whamminess is only matched by Changes. You should really read it before the preview chapters, rik.

I was waiting for it to be picked up at the library and then stop being requested by fifty people.

Just buy it. Paperback books are hardly a massive expense.
