I mean, that's fine and all, but most people, when they don't get a reference, just ignore it.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."...when there's a reference I don't get I usually google it. or ask other people for clarification. 'cause I assume that the people around me who know what's going on will be willing to explain it to me, because everyone has different experiences and different frames of reference and there's generally a first time for everyone to learn something.
ophelia, you're breaking my heartOr ask about it and get a goddamn simple straight answer! "The 2003 musical" or "the one about Oz witch" is so hard?
The problem is that it's about a specific plot twist and the name is a common word, so there isn't any indication that any result is actually what is being talked about.

I told you it was the musical! I just didn't realize there was more than one.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."i live in AMERICA and i have not gotten the reference. mostly because i haven't watched the musical at all. i mean everyone around me was going to go see it, but i couldn't cause i was a minor and the title freaked my mom out.
ophelia, you're breaking my heartOne thing I often do is that when I make a reference to a work, I usually Pot Hole it to whatever work I'm referencing if it has a page here, so anyone who doesn't understand it can just follow the link.
Also, on a semi-related note, I just got Majora's Mask 3D. This should be fun. I'm not sure if Ganon himself plays any role in this installment, though. But back on topic, when a character in a fan work is different enough from the canon version, I just tend to think of them (in this case, Manly Guys Ganondorf and Legend of Zelda Ganondorf) as two separate characters.

The Living Guildpact rules that coffee is an acceptable substitution for rest as specified in subsection … whatever.Given the subject of whitewashing villains into tragic heroes, I wouldn't think it would take very much effort to narrow down the list to The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Fattest Pigeon is one of the best characters in the strip. We are all graced by his appearances.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI choose to believe it's days before the Karaoke night, and it just takes that much gearing up.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyIf Shepard raps like he dances, Renegade is gonna be hilarious.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Hah. "Mega Lobster". I get it.
I have a message from another time...Thank you for confirming my suspicion that there was something to "get". Now that I've taken another look, I get it too.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI thought it was a play on him being Rock Lobster?
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.It was. By being a Mega Man reference.

Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I had some problems linking this the day it went up, and the address is probably too long for this link to work, but now we know of a marriage. Also, what if they were Laser Raptors?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAngel's married to Jet, huh. Buff couple.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Hmm. I'm getting "502 Bad Gateway" HTTP error messages when I try to access http://thepunchlineismachismo.com/ but Down for Everyone or Just Me says that it's good.
Yes, I've tried all the usual "are you an idiot" preliminaries like browser cache clearing, ipconfig fiddling, and so forth. No change.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpI had those the first day the strip came out, which was why I didn't link it that day. Give it some time, and it should work.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI just tried that link and it says it's down for everyone.
What I'm saying is that I'm removed from the american culture by a whole ocean and half a continent and a whole political sphere on top. I barely know what fuck broadway even IS.
