I don't really know. Oslecamo can be argumentative, but not in a way that breaks the Git P draconian forum rules. I guess the mods didn't like him so decided to get rid of him eventually anyway.

They disliked me. The "reason" they banned me for was something I saw several other people do, sometimes with mods themselves aproving of their actions.
Well, their loss. Cubey geting banned as well, when he was one of the most polite and educated posters on the whole forums, shows that site isn't worth the effort anymore.
Now to what really matters, brilliantgameologists is proving to be a really good site, and I bet your great LP would atract a good audience in there! Plus it allows for better formating and presentation!
You know, if this forum does not have two functions I really need for this LP, then I may switch to brilliantgameologists. I already made a post inquiring about these functions so we'll see.

As I told you, this update took more time to prepare than usual. A lot more time, because of various cirumstances.
But anyway, here it is! And let me tell you - tough may it be, it's one of my favorite SRW Z missions. Also, the 20th one. We're 1/3rd of the way into the game! Celebrations! Or not... let's play the actual chapter first.

Cooldown time! No mission is stated for today, so everyone has fun. Well, not everyone.
Holland: What do you mean you don't have skyfish film!
Shaya: So it happens... even Emaan do not always have the goods you require. Especially speciality items from worlds that were not our own.
Holland: Speciality items, right. My LFO won't move without that damn film! Hmm, where to find it...
Adette Mysterious woman: You're in luck, mister. I can help you - for a price...
At the same time, the pilots were having... a snowball battle!
Fatman: Hmph!
Gainer: A giant snowball?
Bello: Run for your lives!
Kappei: I see an opening! Attack! Attack!
Eiji: Not for as long as I stand! You... argh! An attack from behind?
Kamille: That's my specialty! Locking on to the next target...
Ana: I can't let you do that, Kamille. Hired goons, go!

Renton: I can't believe I actually have a chance to pilot Nirvash for a change! I'm so happy!
Setsuko: Umm, they do realize she just called them stupid, right?

Gain: Don't ask me, I am here to watch out for incoming hostiles.
Adette: Great. Now, get to positive thinking! Think happy thoughts. I don't care what you're dreaming about, but it must make you happy.
Garrod's thoughts: If Tiffa is happy, so am I. Imagine her happy...
Kei's thoughts: The many loves of my life. Tina, Minmei... each one of you made me happy in your own way!
Renton's thoughts: Eureka... we're together in one room, nobody is there and then she... oh yeah...
Eureka: Renton!? What did you just say?
Renton: Huh? ... AAAAH! You could hear that Eureka?!
Garrod: Hey, Gainer. You wanna win the Overman Online championship? That's cool... and who's that Cynthia girl?
Gainer: That's private. Wait... I only thought that, and you picked up on it?
Jiron: Looks like everyone could understand each other's thinking for a second. Did we become one for a second? Or is it just a wacky hijinks scenario? This is not EVA, so I guess the latter!

Kashimar: Not going to happen, I'm afraid!
Jiron: He dodged it perfectly! King Gainer doesn't have Newtypes, so it's like...
Kashimar: Like I could read your thoughts? Exactly that, simpleton! Planeta's overskill allows me to hear everything you are thinking. And not only me - it works for everyone around. Truly, a magnificent Overman that creates a world without lies or secrets!
Kei: It's not a secret that you need to go down. Here, have a missile!
Kashimar: Hmph, I do not need Planeta to dodge a straightforward shot like this! But I have schedules, so I won't deal with all of you all by myself. Supporting forces, come here!
Kejinan: Got it! Heh. I finally have an Overman of my own! Wait a sec... that red Dobeck, is that big sister Adette?
The skill point objective is to take down Mexbrute in 3 turns. That's Kejinan's Overman, by the way. Why they let him pilot one, I'll never understand.
Anyway, the smart thing to do here is to wait up and let the enemies, including Mexbrute, come closer.
Breaker: Your luck just run out!
Adette: Hey, not bad... but it's not over yet! My turn to attack!
What's up with these hit percentages? I don't remember Adette being such a lousy pilot... surely, others are better in this regard?
Okay. Orguss should never be that easy to hit by mere mooks. Here's what is going on here: Planeta's overskill is still up, so enemies can read our pilots' thoughts perfectly. Which translates to having the Focus effect active. At all times.
Things are starting to look interesting.
Kei: You won't hit Orguss if I transform into fighter mode! Let's go, time to get rid of some ballast.
Breaker: Woah! I'll be running away if you need me!
Garrod: Right, my turn now!
Toby: As a senior, I'll have to show how things are done!
Setsuko: Toby, I'm following up on your attack!
We're holding up somehow. But the very fact that you have to hold up against Breakers shows how much of a hax Planeta is.
Breaker: The white flying thing looks unstable. Let's get 'im!
Renton: Bl... bluuuh...
Eureka: Don't do it, Renton. Nirvash will be hit!
But it wasn't. Maybe Renton can ref after all!
Breaker: I'll kill you and get a promotion!
SR goon: Attack! For the sake of my raise!
Gain: Not bad... but what do I do now?!
Gotchko is on the defensive, and almost down. Did I mention that losing any unit here results in a game over? Well, I did now.
Toby: Damn, these outtakes are painful!
Setsuko: Don't worry Toby, that didn't really happen! In reality, you will be okay!
Kashimar: The trains must run on time, and you are an obstacle to that. I must dispose of you!
Renton: Ah, that's bad! Really bad!
Eureka: It was only a scratch, do not worry.
All bosses are coming this way, and turn number three starts. So it's time to get rid of Kejinan - but will I be able to down him in just one round, with the mind reading thing going on?
With spirit, nothing is impossible!
Garrod: I won't let you have your way!
Kejinan: Hehehe, are you an idiot? That won't hit me!
Setsuko: No, but this will!
Gainer: And this! King Gainer's long sword!

Amuro was there too, kicking ass and scoring kills. And he needs them for a secret - it requires an average of 25 kills for Amuro and Katz. In other words, 50 kills for Amuro. Deadline? Chapter 25.
Rag: A rare chance for Xabungle to be the team leader! I'll show off all of its attacks!
Holland: Heh, Breakers. Like if these guys got the skills to even scratch my LFO.
Kejinan: Take two! Damn Yapan's overman, I'll take you out!
Gainer: Not going to happen! Everyone, follow me!
Adette: Got it, Gainer! Time to show Kejinan a lesson!

Also, as you can see Savior has a Variable Phase Shift Armor just like Impulse. Enemies without beam attacks (which on this stage means absolutely everybody) cannot really hurt it.
SR lackey: Jump! I'll take you out, big guy!
Maie: Defensive support!
Toshiya: Huh? That wasn't necessary, Godsigma can take a hit!
Especially with Silhouette Machines having what, rank C on fliers? That was really a mistake there. But on the other hand...

Really though, I even forgot Enge was here. And where is Enge and Kejinan, so must be Jaboli. Such is the natural order of things.

I'm not giving much narrative here as you see, but that's because one is not needed. There's no more skill points or additional objectives, just destroy everything and don't get destroyed back.
And it's damn fun.
Toshiya: FINGER BEAM!
Lea: I don't know... the finger part is good but it could use more shine...
Jaboli: This is not funny! I'm getting stomped into the ground here!
Kappei: Time for Arm Punch!

This time we have a big map, with lots of enemies. The 3 turn limit on Gravion's combination may actually matter.

That's right. Planeta casts a lot of useful spirit skills on its pilot each round. Taking it down will be a pain. To make matters worse, I have to leave it for last. Kashimar goes down, all other enemies retreat. And I can't have that. Let's focus on something else next. And by that, I mean Timp.
Quattro: This is Quattro. Send me the Mega Bazooka Launcher.
Quattro: As expected... here's the target. Fire!
Timp: Damnit! Crew, do something! Shoot 'im down!
Timp's landship is big, tough and has a lot of HP. But it too is not without weaknesses.
Kei: Your cannons won't hit me from up close! And you won't trample me if I'm in the air!
Timp: You were supposed to be the local idiot good guy. Stop acting out of character!
This helps, but Timp still has a sick Prevail skill. His accuracy and armor go visibly up with each hit taken. But even he will fall eventually under a stream of strong hits, right?

Kamille: Taking advantage of the opening. Send me the flying armor!

I could buy some mook Xabungle units at the bazaar. I'll pass for now though. What I have works well enough, and they're inferior to Xabungle and Walker Gallia anyway.

Phew! I'm glad I actually can update this thing here. As you obviously noticed, I switched from linking to embedding youtube videos halfway through the post. I'm still experimenting with TV Tropes' forums and what they're capable of. I will probably upgrade older updates during the next few days, so that they have embedded images and videos rather than links, too.
EDIT: Boo for inability to embed more than one youtube video. Oh well, it's okay too.

That was a great chapter. I missed Xabungle's theme, good to hear it again! And Kouji should consider himself lucky that Sayaka wasn't around.
What awaits us in the close future, though... Oh boy. Just oh boy.

Sweet update. Savior Gundam was pretty cool, the Bazooka Launcher, as stated, is love, but Xabungle actually stole the show for me. That cartoony running off, then returning with absolutely ludicrous firepower, was utterly fantastic.
Otherwise, awesomeness all around. The mission was epic, the love confessions, while silly, were still fun- can't think of any real point in this chapter that I disliked. It is nice to see that Adette really is loyal to the Exodus. I was uncertain of her intentions until now. Also, I rather like her snark.
So, what I'm saying through all this unnecessary detail is, I suppose, this is awesome. Keep it up, Cubey.

Told you this mission is great. And yes, I like Xabungle too, both its attacks and its theme. Or is it Rag's theme? Dunno, it's probably an insert song from later in the series. Anyway, too bad it's not that good of a unit, so we won't be seeing it in command role that often...
The thing I like most about Mega Bazooka Launcher is how it unfolds. The animation is great. Thumbs up, Banpresto.
Like Prime32 suggested, I will probably move this LP to Brilliant Gameologists. The reason is that I do not want to litter TV Tropes with thousands of pictures just for my LP and not the actual tropes. No hotlinking possible here, you see. So I need something with more utility.
But I will keep this thread updated with links to new chapters, and will listen and respond to comments.

I hope that at some point you do come back to this LP, and enjoy it, but in the meantime, thank you very much for the entertainment that you provided.
I can't say I didn't have fun: it was satisfying for me until recently, when I found forcing myself to update. So I am putting this on hiatus before I start genuinely hating the updates.

In any case, that's quite true. This LP has lasted a fair bit longer than several others.
