It's easy: quite a large number of Japanese have this fetish for kid-like stuff, and Bleed is obviously a manga-influenced author. Still...

I love how this guy does XJ-9. I'd go lesbian for her.

Dr. Wakeman looks completely different from how she was drawn last time we saw her.

Ah that reminds me, I have seen Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi translated into Japanese. There is a Japanese fandom somewhere there.

I have a question... How does Bleedman go about using Cartoon Network's characters without getting sued? Doesn't he make money off of it?

It's hosted on Snafu, doesn't have print runs of any kind and he has a day job what do you think? Of course he's not making money off it.

Cakman: Looks like Bubbles already hhas

Eddie Valiant Jr: One can't help one's fantasies and attractions. Whether or how one acts on them is a different story. Perhaps this is how Bleedman keeps his demons at bay.

Ah, @Sal, now you went and reminded me why Who Framed Roger Rabbit will never happen again. Could you imagine having to collect the licences from the owners of all of these shows?

And of course, the Doujinshi (title!) market does exist for people to make a (small) profit off their derivative fanworks. I wonder if we'll ever see this have some legal protection against lawsuit, or it will always exist on the fringe of legality.

Bleed seems to be on a roll, currently I'm hoping for some sort of twist based on the "these scientists who have changed the world" line.

I believe the "scandalous" is a reference to Grim Tales From Down Below.

I don't like this comics anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I once loved it. Entire first saga was glorious. But now i see too much K-ON infulences - when was the last time anything was happening? When Dex and Girls were fighting monster. Since then it became boring. At this point characters turned into bunch of moeblobs. And Plot fade in the background for the sake of said moeblobs having funny missadventures. And by "having funny missadventures" I mean "sit and eat potatos". The way entire Olga's subplot has been threaten, as if like Bleedman tried to avoid all drama and make it happen off-panel for the sake of more "cute and funny" things seriously pissed me off.

I read it for assorted reasons. The at least halfway decent plot being the prime one.

I read it because I get to see my old favorite cartoon characters fight each other.
