Yeah, I looked that name up after I saw it.

About how far is Part 8 along now? I stopped reading when Jo2uke met the bro with the robot and the teddy bear, and they were about to beetle fight.

Shit just got real. [CHARACTER] revealed their Stand and used it to kill [OTHER CHARACTER], and then [SURPRISE NEW CHARACTER] showed up. Also Jo2uke learned who he used to be and there was a flashback arc showing how he ended up in the ground with four nuts. So, dramatic turning point from the looks of things.

The only thing I know about Part 8 is that the main character has four balls and there's a beetle fight. Also, something about Google being a Stand?

yo, i'm new to JJBA, i just started part 3 ! i'm absolutely lovin' it so far. ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

i do have a quick question though: where can i see the episodes for parts 1, 2, and 3? i know part 4 is on hulu, but i'm holding it off until i finish part 3. are all the parts on crunchyroll or something, or is there another place i can see them for free?

Far as I know all the other parts should be on Crunchyroll. Part 4 as well, with only the very newest episode requiring a subscription

All the parts are on crunchyroll yes. For free to boot, if you can stand ads (Is it only SC that is free? Part 4 is premium exclusive but I know 3 is free, so 1 and 2 might be as well). Funimation is the main supplier of part 4, so you can get summa dat over there as well.

If crunchyroll and Funimation are no goes in your region of choice there's always the kiss that binds all anime fans. No I have no problem plugging this I can't watch Part 4 legally where I am.

wait, whaaaaaa? you can watch parts 1,2 and 3 on crunchyroll for free? i thought you had to pay for a subscription to see everything. that's so cool! i'll probably stop where i am manga-wise and watch up to part 4... and i already have a subscription for hulu so i'm pretty much covered. thank y'all so much!

wait, do you have to start a free trial to watch the full ver. of the episodes, or can you just.... watch them w/o the free trial glaring at you.

Paid subscription removes ads and gives you access to the very newest episodes (otherwise you have to wait a week). I think some series require subscription for older eps but do not know offhand if Jojo is one of them.

I was able to watch Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency without needing to be subscribed.

Koichi: Of course I have! I've been collecting first editions of "Pink Dark Boy". And I've been reading and comparing the 2nd and later editions to check whether there are changes like the characters' lines.

As a fun fact, Rohan has appeared in the backgrounds of some episodes since Episode 1 (Hazamada, Yukako, and the Nijimura Bros were also there). Pink Dark Boy can also be seen among Hazamada's locker belongings before Josuke touches Surface.

yeah, i pointed him whenever i could in my reaction posts. i also noticed the manga in Hazamada's locker.

okay, time for my favorite Part 4 character.

• 1:38 sounds like they're describing the anime they're in.
• 2:32 wait, you're 16, Koichi? man, looks like that growth spurt missed you completely.
• 2:57 geez, man.
• 3:20 no intro for this week's episode. wonder if that means something.
• 4:30 David Pro continuing with the super-slick scene transitions.
• 5:36 you can read more about these "trips" in the spin-off series, Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe. at this point, you've met everyone that will make a cameo in the series, and it's not really tied to the main story, so you can read all of the adventures without fear of spoilers.
• 6:38 i cracked up laughing when i got to this point in the manga, and this scene still makes me chuckle.
• 7:43 that scene, however, just reminds me of how freakin' weird this guy is.
• 8:43 Koichi's Spider-Sense is tingling.
• 10:26 i would love to read a chapter of Pink Dark Boy. it sounds interesting. also, wait for the official release, Hazamada. don't spoil yourself by reading the leak.
• 14:28 music's fantastic, as usual.
• 15:44 didn't even see him write it in, he's that quick. still don't know if that's an extension of his Stand power or not.
• 16:12 that was three pencil strokes. three. i wish i was that fast when it came to sketching.

They changed the end scroll again. Joseph, Akira and Rohan are in it now.

an easter egg pointed out to me in the comments of another site: during Rohan's appearance in the outro, one of the manga that an be seen on the the shelf behind him is Baoh the Visitor, one of Araki's earlier works. the manga follows a young man that's an escaped science experiment with strange abilities. the title character makes a guest appearance in the video game Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle.

another manga i saw is one the letters "BT" written on the spine. Battle Tendency, maybe?

one more thing i noticed, and it's barely noticeable: almost immediately after Rohan's appearance in the outro, two rats surrounding a metallic object. i know what it is, but i won't go into anymore detail here as to not spoil it for anyone following by the anime.

I don't want to gush all over your experience.

But, I would seriously recommend watching the series in order, and watch Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency first. There are places you can watch them - they should be on Crunchyroll though.

I would encourage you to watch Part 2 most of all. It's wicked fun.
