Note the hint of Josuke's hair.
Seriously, how does he draw like this?
The sad, REAL American dichotomywell he's been pretty much drawing consistently his entire life (counting just his manga career that's about 3 decades). when you do something long enough and actually care about getting better, you'll naturally become pretty good at it.
that doesn't make it any less impressive though. i'm up to the point where steel ball run shifted to a seinen magazine, and as an artist myself some of these panels are hella inspiring.

well, we know for sure that whatever this project is, it's not Jojo. the characters look way too normal.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.I wouldn't want Jojo to go back to a shounen magazine anyway. At this point I feel like the series is past that and should remain that way.
Nothing's stopping Araki from doing something shounen-appropriate for Jump however.
Pucci having three Stands isn't too much different from Koichi's Echoes evolving.
Or, in the case of a future arc, Johnny's Tusk.
Still reading SBR.
I gotta say that flashback to Johnny's backstory with his brother was surprisingly powerful. this is easily the best writing and storytelling i have seen in the series so far; no wonder this is considered the best part by most people.
goes without saying that this is the high point of the series' art as well. it's just a joy to read. i should have finished this a long time ago.
Just finished Part 6.
Okay, I'm not getting it. Of all the points in the world, why did Pucci had to accelerate to that point again? I mean, couldn't he have accelerated straight to right before the day of heaven or whenever? I think there was a reason why it had to be that moment, but I either missed it or didn't understand.
Also, it's a very interesting that Empolio is the one to finish Pucci off. It's too bad that he will never appear again, because he would grow into one hell of a badass. Kujo-level badass, I'd say.
Lastly, if only Kishibe Rohan was in the battle, it might have turned differently. He seems to be pretty immune to it. XD
All in all, Part 6 is my second least favorite Jojo Part (first being Part 5).
Now, I'm looking forward to Steel Ball Run, because to begin with, the art looks amazing and the story sounds very original, at least for a manga.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Rohan wasn't immune to it. He's just ridiculously capable of producing manga.
And yeah, Johnny's backstory is basically Feels Central.
I guess Pucci wanted to be sure that not one single enemy of his or DIO's would be in any position to get in his way. Killing Emporio there would seal the kid's fate.
Rohan totally would have opened Pucci's head and wrote "I will cluck like a chicken and punch myself in the head repeatedly". Fuckin Rohan man.
also its Emporio with an R. His first name's from the Emporio Armani jewel and watches line IIRC.
That is being immune to the power, or overpowering it, but the point stands.
I don't know, I mean, couldn't he have gone slightly backward and prevented Emporio from being born (in the prison, or at all)?
But then again, I don't blame him for not predicting Emporio having Weather Report's Stand. You can't predict shit like that. XP

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I thought Pucci did predict it sorta, he just didn't think it'd be that hazardous to his health.
Old, but hey, I'm late.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.watching someone play All Star Battle in another tab. i gotta say, it's almost painful watching someone play who doesn't know the lore i'm sitting here at my screen screaming "WILL A. ZEPPELI IS NOT ONE OF THE D'ARBYS" "KAKYOIN'S STAND'S NAME IS NOT EMERALD SPLASH" "DIO DID NOT BECOME A VAMPIRE IN PART II" "GYRO ZEPPELI IS NOT A CHICK" and so on and so forth.

Is it, though? Let's remember that as prolific as JOJO is, it's not really a big-huge thing in the US.
Hell! As someone who got into it at the beginning of the recent Part 3 anime, I'm just glad that more people are at least interested in it instead of writing it off as "some homo shit."
It upsets me when people who are into JOJO are railing on those who either aren't or just getting into it.

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.Even Foxy is scared...of Jotaro!◊
That reminds me:
Why exactly did Kujo became a marine biologist, of all things?

Sounds legit.

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either. Now all I need is Star Platina doing ORAORAORAORA rush at Freddy, and my trauma (well, not really) will be cured.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.don't get me wrong, i'm not mad at the guys; it's just driving me crazy because they're getting things wrong and i wanna correct them but the video is a few months old and they probably won't see the comment and a misexplanation might put them off Jojo and i don't want that aaaaaaarrrrgghhh 6_9
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.x8 or so I know the feeling. I actually asked people on Tumblr not to be shitheads to newbies to teh Jojo series.
You're in for a treat. SBR might be on its way to becoming one of my favorite manga in general, but we'll have to see how i feel when it ends. So far though it's hard to say that it ISN'T the best part, given how much more of a focus on character development there is and how excellent the art and storytelling are. my only complaint is araki's sameface problem he started having around this time, though thankfully he seems to be overcoming it.
i'm really looking forward to starting part 8 after this considering part 4 is one of my favorite parts.

The worst offender I've seen form the fanbase actually came from that Smosh video of ASB, which, to be fair, is Youtube.
And I go out of my way to avoid Tumblr drama as much as I can. It doesn't always work (becasue Tumblr) but I manages to avoid most of it.
x4 I'm trying to find the original post on Tumblr (my Google-fu is weak, I'll admit), but since Jotaro, or rather, Micheal Schmidt is a security guard, his stand would be The Doors.

oh my god this art though
(figured it would be better to post this here for now since we don't have that much information for its own thread atm)
