This episode...this episode.
EPISODE 100 PEOPLE. And man did they knock it out of the ballpark with this one, easily one of the best of the season and a whole lot of fun at that.
deviantArt | TwitterThat ending was surprising. Totally got me.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. Not a huge fan of the latest relationship-focused episode but having Castle deal with a richer and more famous Reed Richards was pretty funny.

This episode was...meh. It basically required the two of them to grasp on to the relationship Idiot Ball and refuse to let it go; I mean, seriously Castle? You couldn't even say "We'll talk in the morning?" or something to that effect instead of that non-response?
deviantArt | TwitterBeckett shooting down that drone in one shot was soooooooooooooooooo bullshit.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Beckett? C'mon man, that was so obviously Castle's shot that took it out. Plus homemade drones are notoriously poor in the armor department.
deviantArt | TwitterActor does a bad job at panicking, moments later Beckett: "You can't fake that kind of panic."
In general the last two episodes were pretty abysmal. Especially the clip show felt like a mistake, even more so than those normally are. It just showed how the actors actually looked like humans before (OK, not as much with Fillon but for a good while now I've been wondering what happened to poor Katic, she looks like she traded her soul for skeleton thin looks) and even the banter was wittier (at least with 'em nostalgia tinted glasses on).
Okay, I haven't seen anything past Season 4, but are you saying Stana Katic has lost a whole lot of weight or something?
I didn't really realize that, but from a recent episode I know that I regret her shorter haircuts.
I do not like this cliffhanger. I do not like it at all.
deviantArt | TwitterI do, cause I seriously hope that the writers have the balls to change the status quo. It really bugs me when Status Quo Is God. I'd love to see Kate and Rick together in DC, even if that is unlikeley to happen (cause of esposito and ryan).
You lost!Wild guess : next season will start a few months later, with Kate having accepted the job in DC and rejected Castle's offer. Then for whatever reason some investigation is going to bring her back to NY, where she will meet Esposito, Castle and Ryan who all will be very sulky with her. Then she will realize her real place is in NY and quit her new job to come back at the police station of status quo City. Tadam.
I...don't really want that.
The fact is, last season's finale was interesting because it changed the status quo in a huge, huge way. This season I've kinda had the feeling that they were ramping up to bigger things than the usual Murder of the Week thanks to episodes like the spy episode; transitioning to Castle and Beckett in DC wouldn't feel all that jarring in light of that gradual transition.
That said, I don't see that happening. Or, hell I'll say it, I don't want that happening right now. Castle here is doing exactly the wrong thing. Or, maybe it's the right thing at exactly the wrong time. Either way, it's a terrible, terrible question to ask, and it's symptomatic of the problem with their relationship—what I call the "Chuck and Sarah" problem, which one Morgan Grimes perfectly summarizes in this scene.

deviantArt | TwitterCastle's back! Canada's CTV showed it on sunday instead of waiting for monday.
Indeed they did. I love my country ^^ They've started showing Criminal Minds a day early too.
It was cute and funny...well except for the end *coughSPOILERScough* Though I must admit they were evil geniuses about keeping the real meat of the opener under wraps.
What I will say is that Lisa Edelstein is definitely channeling Cuddy. It works.
I haven't noticed anything except for the change in her hair, but who knows. It could be her wardrobe, it does seem to emphasis that she's tall and rail thin more than in past seasons. When I think noticeable weight loss, I think more of Kathryn Morris halfway through the run of Cold Case looking like she had an eating disorder, but that was more because her high cheekbones made it excruciatingly noticeable that she was losing weight.

Castle's back on terrestrial digital television. YEAHHH!!!! Season 3, but it's better than nothing.
They should have gotten someone besides Cuddy to be Beckett's boss. I can't it her seriously, and I keep thinking she's hitting on Beckett.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.hehehe
Normally that would confuse me, but seeing that it's Stana Katic we're talking about, it would actually be believable (seriously, she's second on my list of abnormally beautiful women, right after Catherine Zeta Jones)
So...I'm assuming the big wedding is going to be the season finale? Also, I feel like next episode is going to be like that time on NCIS when Tony caught the plague and everyone was angsting, and they ramped up the UST with Kate but everything turned out fine...
*watches the ep* so... The Missus and the Ex for Beckett, Carrier version! That'll be fun.
"You can reply to this Message!"Crazy guy in the interrogation room, ranting about how they need to let him out so he can protect her? I think I've seen this movie.
Man namechecking the inspiration for [[Chuck Morgan's]] story wasn't even the best part of this episode, not when it had Espo revealing his inner Whovian.
deviantArt | TwitterBest episode in a long, long time. Glad to see the writers aren't afraid to throw in some fantasy.

The funny Castle episodes are the best ones. So far we had vampires, zombies, ghosts, a curse, aliens and now a time traveler. We're still missing werewolfs.

"Just call me Fast Eddie."
Ha.
