And duly fixed.
Um... er... wait one moment, 'll be back in a sec...You're truly Sonic fast.
Also...
I only did Psyshock because it's a quirky move (special move that deals physical damage).
Now if I only could find that post, then I'd link to it. Gotcha.

"Screw it, I AM going to enjoy this game!"Dunno if anyone's interested, but I've been thinking about writing up an entry on Mega Evolution itself.
Would that be something one person could do?
I think that'd be more of a group effort??? I am sure some things are meant to be group works.

"Screw it, I AM going to enjoy this game!"The issue is that nobody has established how group efforts are meant to be done.
Did you ever consider fiction might be fact? From the Dibs page: "A bit of clarification: the following entries have since long ago been decided to be run as collab, meaning that no single Troper can call dibs on them — once we decide to tackle those entries, we'll do it together."
That includes Eevee line, both kinds of Evolution and Egg Groups.
"Screw it, I AM going to enjoy this game!"If that's the case, I'll just contribute my own grim-dark interpretation of game-canon Mega Evolution conditions. Anyone else interested in contributing more?
Depends. What's your interpretation?
Cliff notes version:
- Mega Evolution doesn't necessarily need a strong bond to function, though it's ideal.
- Most, but not all, Pokémon are inherently more violent and unpredictable while Mega Evolved. This varies with the individual and from species to species.
- Lack of training or Pokémon that have been mistreated tend to be especially unruly and prone to harming bystanders and their trainers.
Yeah, no. We don't need to bastardize it.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Pretty much all of that is true in some form or another, either through interpretation of game mechanics (happiness is irrelevant for Mega activation, and Mon Amie features are all disabled - I interpret this as some kind of emotional shift) or through scenes in the anime. Heck, Korrina's Lucario goes crazy and bites her wrist in the anime, and she loves that thing.
Even when the anime did it, it was dumb.
I can live with the first bullet, but I don't see why we need to have 2 and 3.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? The latter, than. It's supposed to be difficult to achieve and we've already established that revived fossil Pokemon are heavily regulated and virtually never battle in standard competitions, so this is nothing new.
I can behind the Mega Evolved being more vicious and less sportsman like in their regulated battles, since their forms look an awful lot like a prehistoric version of themselves when they needed to kill rather than defeat or run.
Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane.I fail to see how most look prehistoric.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? You're not really contributing anything with all these one liners.
I'm not a wall-of-text person, and I'm leaving the house soon so I don't have time to make one anyway.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Just pitching out ideas. Frankly I don't overthink it all that much and just go with it.
Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane. When your criticism is "it was dumb when the anime did it", though, that doesn't say anything.
Here's the cliffnotes version.
Pokemon fight for fun and are, overall, not malicious or overtly violent even by Blood Knight standards. Turning Mega Evolution into a berserker mode runs contrary to that.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Wouldn't be no fun to ponder about if we went with that.
But I gots to go to. Later.

Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane.Getting kinda heated but I'll just say that's not really how this thing works and leave it at that.
I have updated the Slugma / Magcargo entry so that it is actually much more consistent with the source material, removing various elements that are flat-out contradicted by the source material and replacing them with ones that are supported by it.
Please note that I first posted these changes in post #7815, under my previous handle of "Gordon Schumway". As I noted back then, I contacted the original author about making the changes, and I never received a response.
So... how about that Fighting Type moves as Ki Attacks thing I suggested?
While I suppose that could be kinda justified for non-Unova Pokemon in BW...
It gets just silly with B2W2.
G6 takes it to the point of laziness. Hoenn usually has unique entries (that got a bit rephrased in Emerald) even for non-natives, but they just recopied things for newer Pokemon into ORAS (besides Hoopa; weather trio also had major changes, among some other minor changesNote ), even if it's Kalos. That means Kalos mons (other than Hoopa again) have a whooping of two canon Pokedex entries.
I am fairly sure Fury actually downs Hoopa's Defense.Well, that was fast PM reaction.edited 25th Jan '16 12:22:10 PM by PinkCelebi
