God this series is such a fucking trainwreck.

Yeah, but that situation just arose. The question was why he was continuing to let the world exist if he really just wants to end it all. Also, what was that whole thing about him only appearing in places with a lot of negative emotions or whatever?

I would agree 100% with that conclusion.

Everytime I think of this series, I find a new plot hole. This arc is like moldy swiss cheese.

Its an astounding achievement really of how something became so diastarous.

Let Fairy Tail be remebered as one of the worst shonen ever & let its failings teach us all as to what not to do if you want to make a good fucking story.

I toast to another shonen series that held promise, but went downhill through plot holes, retcons, flanderization, and other flaws.

I actually had decent things to say about Fairy Tail before the time skip/Avatar arc happend.

Even amongst the Spriggan 12 there were some who deserved better than how Mashina wasted them to instead focus on trash like the three obligatory females. Plus how Mest is a very clear scumbag but he's Fairy Tail so it's all good!

Plus all those poor Etherious demons deserve better.

I think the timeskip is where things went way downhill.

I like the stuff pre-tenrou, though I didn't think it was really bad until after the first time skip. Even then, Tartarus was okayish.

Oh. Poor her. She's supposed to be on par with Erza, yet uses all her power just to defeat Irene's "children", promptly getting humiliated by Irene herself afterward. She later struggles to defeat a Spriggan who won't even look her in the eye, and is clearly still injured from his fight with Natsu and Lucy.

Yeesh, poor Mira.

I'm gonna go with Laxus since I like the guy. At the very least I liked him best when he was the guild's resident jackass.

I get the feeling she just couldn't keep up after the second time skip. Lot easier to get a strong armor then eating a strong demon soul.
