So I just looked at the Christmas special: why were they all surprised that Erza would actually walk home naked and what a coincidence Jellal just happened to be walking by.

It does seem a bit out of character for Jellal to be out on a casual stroll while not wearing his so-not-suspicious cloak.

As for Erza, even if you put aside her general lack of modesty, it should still be freezing outside.

Friendship protects Erza from the cold.

Really Erza should have an upper layer of scar tissue from the beatings she takes she shouldn't feel anything at the dermal layer.

Well it is a comedy Christmas special after all. People can afford to be a little out of character for humors sake.

Yeah considering the shit Erza usually goes through pretty sure all she feels is a light breeze.

There was a point near the end of the ep. where Sting and Rogue were fighting Jiemma, shortly before Mardi Gras decided to go One-Winged Angel. For a fight between a pair I don't care much for and a guy I care even less about, that was some of the best animation in the 2014 anime.

About time they get the animation down pact for these fights.

Zeref tells Invel to pull the army back to lessen the damage.

Natsu's tattoo is from the remnants of Igneel's power.It allows him to enter Flame Dragon King mode.Zeref muses that the power of the dead might be able to kill an immortal.

Then he brings up Layla,Mavis,his beloved bro Natsu.And someone called Anna first.Probably that girl with the earrings in the recent tweets of Hiro.

So he knows about Layla? Maybe we'll finally find out what her deal is.

On another note,funny how the power of the dead always takes the form of a tattoo.Fairy Glitter,Devil Slaying,now this.Even the Aquarius Star Dress,in a way.

Why not use this on Acnologia Natsu?

Would it even work? Its just utilizing the remaining power of a dead man & what good would it be using it against the warrior the dead man couldnt beat?

If you could change one thing about this series, what would it be?

Oh that's a tough one. I guess I would have nakama power be based on genuine bonds and actual teamwork instead of an excuse to one shot villains and to always have Fairy Tail be right.

Oooh make the setting more dreary or dark. Add in a bunch of deconstruction tropes to balance out the idealism & power of friendship shit so it dosnt feel so annoying.

Change the format of villains bar Jellal, Ultear, Minerva, Zeref, and Acnologia almost all of them show up for one arc, and if they don't they end up turning good. Speaking of which like Naruto too much villain redeeming.

Make Natsu more of an animalistic, Blue-and-Orange Morality kind of person, who starts out as a decent enough guy, but clearly holding true to Dragon Idealism and Laws which clash with human ones, as a result of being raised by dragons. Make Lucy's collection of the Keys a much bigger deal and a bigger part of the story. Give Erza a more limited selection of armours that she adds to and needs to use multiple ones per fight most of the time. Wendy can be this very spiritual, or super fun loving girl. Think Airbenders. Keep to the main six elements for Dragon Slayers. And Grey... Is fine.

So if I had to pick one of those... I'd say Erza or Natsu's changes.
