I can't help but picture Xemnas just reaching out to Kingdom Hearts every day when he's not in his big boy chair.
It's been 3000 years…Because he longs for a heart? Or perhaps because the Terra part of him still remembers that horrible, fateful day...
a bunch: Sora can also kill Heartless by hitting them with the wooden sword in Hollow Bastion, it just deals pathetic damage
he leveled up and gained enough strength that he didn't strictly need the Keyblade anymore
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. She helps Sora because the Nobodies are a bigger threat- interestingly she tells Sora that it's a debt the has to repay, and this is brought up again in Re:Coded where (after Sora saves her life) she mentions that his debt to her is officially paid off.
I'm fairly sure this is explicitly stated several times throughout the series. Leon mentions needing the keyblade to beat back the heartless invading traverse town, and in Days it's stated that they needed Roxas and Xion who is she, again? because the keyblade was the only weapon that could actually kill the heartless and collect hearts.
I'm sure i've been ninjad to hell and back but i like throwing my two cents where it isn't needed

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeKH doesn't really care if something is in the animated canon or not as far as the animated worlds are right? Like they got Return of Jafar after all. I figured they'd return to Pridelands for some Simba's Pride.
I'm not really sure they adapted Return of Jafar so much as they just had Jafar come Back From The Dead since everyone else did.
I mean the term is pretty arbitrary anyway. Its not like the movies are in their own continuity that excludes most sequels (at least not until Tangled) The "canon" feels more like a list of their animated theatrical movies.
Wasn't there also a plotline about Iago having a Heel–Face Turn in Return of Jafar as well?

There was. Iago gets free from the lamp and becomes a better person, which Jafar uses to lure Aladdin into a trap after threatening Iago.
Right, and after that, Iago is the Snarky Team Mate in the animated series.
So starting KH I,5 today. Which item should I pick and how should I answer the questions? I remember that they influence your progress, but not exactly how.

Optimism is a duty.Pick the Staff, drop the Sword, pick the third answers to the questions to start at Dusk.
I always end up going for the shield
New theme music also a boxWell, I found some stats here, and it looks like going for balanced may be the best choice (playing on normal difficulty), so staff/sword seems a good idea.
... Why do the waves on the beach look so awful and low res? Or have they always looked like that? All I see is kind of shadows of waves jerkily moving up and down the shore.

Optimism is a duty.Probably wasn't worth the time to make it look better.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.Ugh, Riku... Its bad enough to beat me, but do you really have to WAIT for me just so you can barely beat me?
Optimism is a duty.It took until my sixth playthrough before I finally beat Riku in that race.

Shadow seems more thematically appropriate.
It's been 3000 years…The trick is to take the cable ride on the way there, or the tops of the palm trees on the way back, or both.
Oh, I had forgotten about those awkward facial expressions. Poor Minnie and her eternal ear to ear grin.
Though no one beats Scar. Good god, that grin of Scar...
Optimism is a duty. Not even Pete's perpetual grin in BBS's Disney Town?
Ah, good ol' paper face syndrome. It will not be missed.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?At least Scar and Pete were just in one world each. Goofy and Donald had their dopey grins on for almost the whole first game.
It's been 3000 years…It's weird they never gave Scar and Lion Pete moving faces despite various moments of closeup.
From what I can tell, human faces get expressions, while non-humans basically get a mask with a movable jaw, like a ventriloquist dummy.
Optimism is a duty.Lion Sora and Simba emoted fine though, but I guess they're exceptions to the rules.
Speaking of which I just realized that Port Royale featured non-Heartless, non-Nobody enemies as regular encounters until post-game.
Xemnas could have done it but he's a lazy fuck.
Like I'm not even kidding. It's implied he does nothing for most of Days and just sits on his nonexistent ass.
Plus he might maybe possible still have amnesia potentially and can't do anything anyway.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?
