Well, not willingly. Even if he did get 'Norted though I'm pretty sure he'd be as rebellious about it as possible.
Also, I read that as "Sora turning into a Darkside(as in the Heartless)" Which....Isn't The Data version of Sora's Heartless that? Though apparently that was caused by Journal screwery.

Looks to be a slow drawn out process. Some time along the way they seem to be cool with the Nortification, judging by Saïx and Xigbar.

It's literally just being possessed by Xehanort.
My guess is that the reason it's not complete like with Terra is that it's not Xehanort's whole heart doing the possession, just some.
I kinda liken it to the whole Horcrux situation in Harry Potter.

All the ones we have so far fight pretty differently don't they? The only DARKNESS wielding ones so far are Ansem and Xehanort prime I think.

Terra-Xehanort's second form is just ASOD plus Terra.
Literally the most boring and generic fight.
Yeah 3D was very non-Kingdom Hearts. Heck the main villain tried to make Sora Turn To Darkness!
