Oh, I use Stitch as much as possible in that fight.
Magnet works on him? I might give that a shot.
I have a message from another time...BOOYAH! Data Xaldin is down!
Took quite a few tries, Magnet did nothing, and Stitch was once again MVP, but I managed it! With Jump as the finishing blow, in fact.
So that's 5 down.
I have a message from another time...Our page on Chain of Memories really makes collecting enemy cards seem way worse than it really is. I'm finished eight worlds, and I'm only missing five cards. And I haven't even tried for two of them yet.
White Mushrooms and Black Fungi are their own things, so I've just been saving up their map cards. The only other ones are Aquatanks (which I'm farming for right now; Atlantica is so much more boring in COM than in KHI), Tornado Steps (which don't show up in red rooms in Monstro for some reason, so the card-boosting rooms won't work on it there), and Darkballs (which are probably way more common in Hollow Bastion anyway).
You know what did have a ludicrously low drop rate? The Defender and Wizard Relic in KHI Final Mix. Seriously, fuck that noise.
sora doesn't get the darkball card, because it has a riku-only ability.
but no enemy card farming sucks ass
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartOh. Well, one down then.
And Aquatank is literally the first one that's given me any trouble. All the others I've picked up just by going through worlds a second time and using mostly Teeming Darkness. And I was planning on going through worlds more than once anyway, for grinding purposes and a trophy that requires you to synthesize 300 rooms in one playthrough.
As I recall, Sora did get the Darkball, it just did something different for him than Riku. It was pretty fun in Riku's mode though.
Also Looming Darkness is best for farming I think.

Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Sora only got it in the gba version.
Looming Darkness has no effect on card drops.

I looked it up. He doesn't get it in Re:Chain of Memories because it had a multiplayer ability and was therefore useless.
I did not realize the original Chain of Memories even had multiplayer.
Also, as far as I can tell, Teeming, Looming, and Almighty Darkness all have the same boost rate. And at least with Teeming you don't get swarmed as soon as you walk through the door.
Atlantica has like, the worst enemies in the game. I really hate these fights.
Yes it does. It says so in the card text.

I got the Tornado Step card from Destiny Islands if that helps.
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierI'd heard they're pretty common in Hollow Bastion.
And now I have pleased 11 of the mushroom XIII. All that's left is number X. The one in Isla de Muerta, who apes Black Ballade's gimmick.
I have a message from another time...and XIII
Ooh, RikuxVanitas isn't really a ship I've seen a lot of. Sure beats the usual Soriku stuff.
Check out my YouTube-channel, if you wantit' probably not that common because the two are not compatible in any respect. Vanitas hates pretty much everyone, and Riku would take one look at that thing and go "what is this monster and why does it have my best friend's face? i'll kill it now and ask later."
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Touche.

I like Xaldin because dragoons.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I was finally forced to drop to Sora because I had the Risky Winds in Pranster's Paradise. Now Sora needs to play catchup.
Nomura said the Unknown fight in BbS was canon, right? I was editing and wanted to add that, but I don't remember if it was actually true or not.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?He did.
He didn't say who for, but.
Yeah, but no word on who and why.
My guess is that he fought Terra just before he left for the Graveyard.
I have a message from another time...I find it weird that Xaldin uses the word "ken". I only know it from Scots and Geordie.
Life is more fun with infinite MP."D'ya kennit" may be a Scottish thing, but "Beyond our ken" isn't really regional.
If you don't want to wait, Magnet (preferably right after you get out of his way) can pester him out of his safe attacks up until he starts being exploitable again.
Stitch's music would probably also work, though at that point you're basically pitting RNG against RNG.
