That would fit with modern Square (and everybody else's) RPG design sensibilities. But as nice and necessary it would be to have actual people in KHIII's worlds, I could do without quest-giver spam. :P

Randomly, on an altogether different subject and upcoming game... Been thinking on the new Dissidia title a bit, recently. It was mentioned back following the original game [or it's sequel?] that — I believe, anyway — the Sora was considered for a playable character in the game, but was ultimately rejected on the grounds of him being "a poor fit" for the game and its world. And I actually agree with that, especially with Dissidia's overarching plot and general grim, hopeless tone.

Buuuuut I've been thinking that, on the other hand, it could be really cool to see Xion get a role there. I'd say the tone — and a few particular plot elements, the existence and nature of the Manikins especially — would be very complementary to her. Given the, uh, overall weirdness of existence in the KH universe and her unique weirdness, specifically, I could even see it be plausible that her appearance in the game could be made a sort of canon extension of her own storyline.

And either Young Xehanort or Xemnas [especially Xemnas] would seem to be excellent counterparts to her on the Chaos side, and come with their possibile justifications for canon appearances. I would that they'd all be excellent reps for KH in Dissidia in general.

Plus, the idea of Xion getting to interact with the likes of Cloud, Terra, Zidane and definitely Tidus excites me and sound like concepts with loads of possibility for nifty character interactions and, for Xion, self-reflection. It sounds like it could be super good for the young lady.

(And hey, it's gotta more plausible than the idea of there being a rerelease/Final Mix of 3D where Kairi gets her own campaign and stuff, right? ... yes, it almost certainly is more plausible. :,D )

I don't think that's necessary.

To be honest, I kind of think those pages should mainly be for fourth-wall-breaky characters who reasonably would write their own pages. Which is why I like the idea of a Deadpool page, but think Dr. Doom is a bit much.

Going back to Vanitas = Sora's Heartless

I would have made it that Vanitas has been surviving in a perverse twist on Sora's ability to connect his heart to others.

Vanitas has been drawing the darkness of others hearts in this connection to him but can't fully awaken similar to Ven cause his heart has been lost.

So while Sora's heartless is relatively weak... it can cannibalize other heartless to Strengthen itself, IE its default is a more stylized Shadow -maybe have sometype of crown symbol-, Then a Neo Shadow, a dual wielding Invisible, A Darkside and finally Shadow Sora/Anti-Sora. any major defeat reduces it back to its Shadow/Neoshadow form

It would have bouts of increased intelligence -It sounds like Sora!!- and then fall right back into basic Heartless instinct -It really wants to eat your heart-

A Derelict Gummi ship -The SS Mowghli- where you fight Photo Negative I mean Nightmare Mickey as the boss and is populated with Nightmare versions of the various Disney characters or atleast the ones that have you had as party members... Except this one weird guy that fights with spear.. -That'll give you nightmares... or maybe you want to beat the crap out of donald... stupid Donald always blowing his mp and drinking all the ethers-

If 3D was getting new bonus bosses I would definitely want something from The World Ends with You. I'd pick Joshua but they'd probably just go for one of the Game Masters.

Is there a legit method to beat the Mysterious Figure? Back in the day, it was "dodge, Thunder Surge, pray to the dark gods for I-frames, repeat until RNGeezus smiles upon you," and it took like 15 minutes.

While those missions were annoying as all hell, and the Days bonus bosses were annoying as even more hell, they do not even begin to compare to the unfathomable suffering involved with Young Xehanort.

On critical mode, no less.

Why did I think that was a good idea.

Let me tell you, Royal Radiance hasn't made this battle any easier.

The only other time I've ever experienced this much frustration is when I was trying to do the Atlantica gummi missions in KHI

People actually bother with the Gummi missions? Whaddya know.

I'd personally go with Sho Minamimoto.

That said, I'd like it if in III, not only do they have a Shibuya world, but afterwards Mr. H expands Wild Kat into either Twilight Town or Radiant Garden, where in addition to selling coffee, he also sells some exclusive commands or limit breaks.
