May has always seemed quite clueful. Just terribly irascible with it.
(And occasionally prone to unwise decisions. On which topic, note what she’s reading here. Oh dear.)
= Spindriver =Is Dale rubbing the bridge of his nose, or turning his VI system off?
I think the controls would be on the sides, so he's rubbing the nose in 3 and turning the glasses off in 4.
Yeah, that move in panel 3 is the classic nose pinch of aggravation. IIRC, he's tapped the top of his glasses to turn them off in at least one previous strip.

New Comic with Momo being the source of reason on the other side.
I mean...that's just unassailable logic. A fully operational Gundam would be priceless.

For the physics-breaking fuckery if nothing else.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Dale should listen to her and not only because she's a convicted felon and has a knife.
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"Guessing the title for today ("Do Not Bring Her Dishonor") is an oblique reference to Fruit Ninja?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Or a reference to an anime with a large boobed girl.
Which, admittedly doesn't narrow it down, but still.....
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Remarkably good advice considering it's May giving it.
Trump delenda estMay IS smart. She just has shit impulse control.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Oh, I know she's smart but she's also a sociopath with impulse and anger management issues.
Trump delenda estI think "sociopath" is a little extreme. Just in this current segment, she's able to understand why Dale's comments hurt Marigold.
She doesn't care about rules, but she cares about her friends.
Fresh-eyed movie blogMay has the best insults.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets."Dickroomba" is a very nice robo-insult.
May is very far from a sociopath.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.All's well that ends with a boob joke.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Comic's title is "Fruits Basket"
Hmm, Marigold would've seen that anime, but I'm not sure about Dale.
Does anyone recognize May's stance in the first panel from any particular martial art?
Up on the toes of one foot with the leg cocked up like that? Doesn't seem like it would be very practical. The combination of a flashlight and knife suggests some sort of Close Quarters Combat training for a security guard. With a proper maglight, it lets you spotlight a perp and then use it as a club as necessary while they're fixated on the visible knife.
It's a mark of how little Dale knows that May. May. May is the voice of reason in anything.
