Eh, compared to some internety things I came across today, "pint of moose in the eye" is pretty tame.
Except her eyes aren't eyes. So I don't think getting things in them is a huge concern for her.
Optics are fiddly and cleaning them is often a pain the ass. Plus her chassis is probably not very well waterproof so that's even more problems in potential.
So yeah, getting showered in decayable organic material would be not fun for her.
I mean, best case scenario, it doesn't have any effect on her directly, but now she smells.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Dose moose semen have that powerful an odor?
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"Who knows.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Well, it's organic, so probably? If not immediately, then when it starts rotting...
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Yeah, rotting is what I was talking about.
Winslow the AI activist. Call me a poker player with a great hand, because I am all in.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Eh, birds can't taste capsaicin. It's how the seeds spread actually.
Not Three Laws compliant. It's also entirely in-character for May not to know that.
What's precedent ever done for us?On the other hand, she says "normal birds" don't like habanero nachos. Implying she tested this.
Of course, that could easily be for reasons unrelated to capsaicin.

Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Still totally into cool mum Bubbles.
Also is anyone else having trouble with the RSS feed?
"I hasten to interject that I have potentially time-sensitive data that merits immediate consideration." - VaarsuviusThe RSS feed has had intermittent troubles for as far as I remember.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.I'm having trouble, too.
oh hey the RSS feed is working again
She is very polite yet savage, damn.
"I hasten to interject that I have potentially time-sensitive data that merits immediate consideration." - VaarsuviusI was hoping something like this would happen.
The message of privilege is a bit messy considering the AI setting and whether they're property or not, and people have made arguments regarding Winslow's privilege and whether he really deserved to have May bite his head off. I myself felt like the message hit me in the face like a pile of bricks, out of nowhere - hence my participation in the initial backlash.
But this strip helps soften the blow. Jeph gets to mention the thing he wants to raise awareness for, but there's an acknowledgement that May was kind of a giant asshole in how she went about it and hurt Winslow's feelings. The issue is that comics in a daily format exist in a vacuum for possibly days at a time, so you don't know where the message is going to go - for a few days, it was just May going "think about your privileged new asshole before you jam it in my fucking dirt-poor face" to what amounts to a child in appearance and temperament, and that bugged the fuck out of me. With Hanners stepping in and giving a subtle "what the fuck" to May, while understanding where she was coming from and respecting Winslow's decision that stemmed from the altercation, there is some redemption in this arc that had initially split me pretty damn hard.
That's our Pintsize! *cue laugh track*
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Full points to Pintsize, that's one of the most horrifying things he's done in this comic.
"I hasten to interject that I have potentially time-sensitive data that merits immediate consideration." - VaarsuviusI was going to say it's one of the least horrifying things he could have done with the old chassis. He could have really defiled it but he just put in a Butts app. All they have to do is uninstall the app and it's good to go again.
Avatar from here.I'm going for my usual 'endearingly misguided' but I keep getting 'disturbingly malicious' instead!
"I hasten to interject that I have potentially time-sensitive data that merits immediate consideration." - VaarsuviusThat's a call back and a half!
New comic: Don't Shoot The Messenger
Did Winslow look up that pigeon fact on his old chassis? I guess A.I.s don't really hold any attachment to a body they aren't using any more.

You've never watched Malcolm in the Middle, have you? Poor Francis...
