Right now I'm wondering if Corpsewitche's hold over Bubbles insn't due to something more...serious.
Bubbles has been shown to be thoughtful and perceptive. It's hard to believe that Corpsewitche's taunting and mind games are enough to keep Bubbles in check.
Maybe her vague threats and bitchiness are hinting at something more serious. Maybe Bubbles did something that Corpsewitch is blackmailing her with.
When the spooks found out about Pintsize's accidental milspec chassis, they arrived to attempt to confiscate it. The situation was resolved in his favour, but Bubbles may not find it so easy.
Wow, Faye doing the smart thing. Well, right thing. Smart would be to find another job but she's not going to leave Bubbles now.

Oy, do I hate that situation...
Well, I've been in the situation, but never has it been a thing that was so integral to another's personality that it was something that I was reminded of the whole time. I suppose Brun's spectrum disorder, or Jeph pulling a Cold Turkeys Are Everywhere might make it hard in this case, but I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Probably the disorder. She already has to keep herself on track manually instead of easy automatic everybody else rides on, now she has to keep checking herself for one more thing.

I think her eyes aren't quite pointing in the same direction.
Hmm at a closer nitpicky look they do look just a little big off vertically. Probably due to the white eyetwinkle covering upper part of the pupil in eye further from the viewer, making it look lower aimed.
He seems like a good bouncer.
Also, he says "oh gosh" because he's a giant boy scout.
