Hey cool! I was wondering who here would get that reference. Well, actually chances were pretty good that someone would, but whatever.
You know, I suddenly realize I have no idea how I found that comic. I think I found it during a reading of RPG World, or was it the other way around? Either scenario just raises the question of how I got to the other one.
I actually really like the idea of Yuna's EX-Burst. I think it's a more "extreme" idea, and more obviously high-end than just one really strong summon. I still woner how they're reconciling this with summonstones. It'd be funny for someone to use the Shiva summon in response to, well, her Shiva summon.

I have a message from another time...More Info
She can call up to 2 summons at a time
I never read the comic, though I know about it from RPG World.
They'll probably just leave the summon stones in. Can't really compare a cut-out portrait of Shiva with an actual summon of her. That said, they could always just change the avatar of the summon stone while it keeps its effect.
I'd assume we'd use "summon" to refer to her summons and "summonstones" to refer to the items.

Like, her attack summons, or use two summonstones?
I have a message from another time...Her attack summons....though That MIGHT be her EX ability.
EDIT or another theory...2 summons out for brave attacks and 1 summon for hp attacks

Whoo....summon EVERYBODY? All of X's Aeons, or just the regulaar ones? Is Anima and Yojimbo in there?
:smug:If Yuna's voice actor from FFX returns, now's her chance to redeem herself in my eyes.
Her main problem was trying to match the mouth flaps.
Listen to her in KHII and War of The lions. She sounds a lot better.

And that's why dubbing is a stupid idea to begin with. It creates so many problems.
The other games Yuna has been in have the lip syncing changed to fit the english script.

The above post originally read this, before it was edited:
I live in Finland. Here, only movies for really small kids are dubbed. From the age 9 onward, we read subtitles. If you have trouble with that, then go read a book, you idiot, and leave films for smart people. That's what it's like. I'm so used to subtitles that nowadays I watch movies with English voices and English subs.
Finding a video game that's been actually translated to Finnish in ANY WAY would require me to find those educational games for 4-year-olds. Translating the manual feels really patronising, like someone thinks I can't understand the language I obviously want to play the game with. I learned English by playing Warcraft II and listening to Bill Roper's mission briefings. I completed and mostly understood Final Fantasy VIII and IX before I was 12.
So yeah. If you need to have voice at all (which you really don't), Original-language voices, English subtitles, thank you very much. I'm not five years old, I can read.

^ You know, if someone removes something from their post, theres a good chance they regret it and don't want it to be seen. Just saying.
Well I felt that for people who hadn't seen the unedited post, my post would seem really out of place.
I was responding to "So your a dub hater". I kinda like the rant I ended up writing in response. I don't want my rant looking like a total non-sequitur.
Yuna's voice was wonderful in X-2.
On a light-hearted note: dammit, I wanted to make the Adventurers! reference.
Also: one would think there'd be an option to enable the Japanese audio for those who prefer it. /shrugs
I say we're getting Gilgamesh and Beatrix/Leo on Team Evil, and that's it for new characters.
So, I've been playing through Dissidia 1 in preparation for Duodecim.
I'd forgotten how much I fucking hate the constant bullshit the AI pulls out of its ass every single time I try to verse anyone not 10+ levels below me.
Against all tyrants.Once you reach level 100, they can at least no longer wear higher level gear than you.
Yeah, I'm faring a bit better this time around, focusing on blocking and countering, using items and accessories to boost stats on the like. It'll only get worse as time goes on, but it's managable for now.
Barely.
Against all tyrants.I've never learned to properly block in any fighting game. I can just barely do it as Exdeath, CoD and Firion. I prefer to dodge and counter.
Oh, also, another thing DD:FF needs: The ability to set enemy level higher than 105 in Quick Matches. Level 105 Maximum Difficulty enemies are too easy.

Or improve the AI. I found the best challenge was to get a friend's ghost who has a bunch of 100% breakability items.
Improve the AI? It's already hard enough to hit them with anything when playing as a projectile specialist.
I have a message from another time...Which character are you using? I found that I have to play over half the characters to have fun so I might be able to help.
I WAS HONESTLY BEGINNING TO THINK I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO READ THAT COMIC.
