Avellone is having fun with the news on Twitter.

I never got the entire stash of gold out of Dead Money. No interest in trying, really; the real loot is in the chips, the vending machine and the Pre-War Money.
The reason to do so is to screw the ham-fisted aesop of Dead Money.
Plus they make lovely decorations
Oh really when?I have an obsession with owning every unique item and I swear the GRA stuff is worth exactly 38 gold bars.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?Old world blues did the "Let it go" Aesop better.
But you can bet that my Big Boss is going to take every single gold bar just to sell for ammo.
@Balmung: but the theme
But yeah, the DLC is Chris Avellone pretending to be a True Artist. I just ignore his attempts to wank out themes. (Which, of course, is why Lonesome Road simply doesn't work for me at all: because your only interaction at all with another human being is to listen to his Author Avatar spouting philosophical drivel. There's nothing to it except Chris Avellone wanking out a theme.)
Just finished Honest Hearts with the Crush the White Legs, kill Salt upon Wounds in battle ending. Slightly anticlimactic this time for some reason.
Let me ignore all of this so I can enjoy the New Vegas DLC.
Also, this is a thing. A wonderful thing.
When it comes down to it. Who would win in a fight? So long as the Dovhakin doesn't summon any dragons the vault dwelwer rains supreme.
Now how is he gonna get outta that?
It's irrelevant until we answer the question: How do we balance Fallout Radiation-based magic and the Elder Scrolls version?
I don't know, to be honest.
I just had a scary experience in Dead Wind Cavern, which some of you will know as where the Legendary Deathclaw hangs out, along with some Young Deathclaws, normal Deathclaws and the Deathclaw Mommy. All of whom I have previously slaughtered with the help of shotgun, my companion Sunny Smiles and her pet dog Cheyenne.
Who should show up on a return visit to the cavern? Why, all but the Legendary Deathclaw, of course. He was the only one who didn't have the decency to respawn - all the rest did.
Just this minute got out of there after killing all of them yet again, only this time coming closer to game over, man, game over because I got about five seconds warning before the Mommy and her brood sprung, and I wasn't expecting them.
On another note, anyone else pissed off that you can't skin the Deathclaws and use the leather gained to make some bitching armor? Because I sure am.
Maybe through a mod.
Also Big Boss playthrough goes well... mostly. Experiencing some major glitches where The King's associate won't talk, to Colonel Moore disappearing.
Beyond that my most proud moment is stealthing all of the Legion Camp at Cottonwood, took down ever legion Member stealthily. Suffered no Karma or Faction drop up until I took Boone up to the Fort to kill Caesar himself.

I'm like 90% sure there's a mod for that
Oh really when?I had a look and I couldn't find a Deathclaw skinning/armor making mod.
Which sucks in a way.
Maybe not just Deathclaws. Did you expand the search for all animals to make the hides more common? That might help.
Hmm, I will give that a go.
This mod is the best. No other mods are necessary.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Thank goodness. Johnny Guitar is such a great song but it never plays on the radio! Half the time I'm not sure if it's actually in the game!
nyo ho hoFor some people it's like that. I tend to hear it all the time.
I can mod in more radio stations if I get bored with Radio New Vegas. I love this one:
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47364/?
because the songs in it are great, and also fit the feel of the time the game's based on, mainly pre-60's America transposed into the twenty-first century and then into the twenty-third thanks to the whole two-hundred year time skip caused by the War. It's got Billie Holliday, Johnny Mercer, Bing Crosby and Cab freakin Calloway. Nuff said.
I prefer the CONELRAD radio channel that plays cold war-era propaganda music and PS As. Fits the theme, and I find a lot of those songs really catchy. They tend to ahve this lyrica dissonance thign going on, whcih I'm always a fan of.
I usually run that mod, in fact I've recommended it here a few times if I recall correctly. This save file/playthrough I'm doing things a bit differently. Wave Radio fills a need at the moment.
So does anyone have any advice for fixing my problem of the King won't advance the quest or important characters keep disappearing?
It better be amazing.
