From what I recall from reading just now, better processing power, you can see the 3D better at angles, and a teeny little C Stick.
Also, a CUP HO- I mean, COLORED BUTTONS!
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefAlso, ZR/ZL buttons. Pretty much better in every way.
So it basically fully integrates the Circle Pad Pro?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Hm, got my 3DS in march 2013, this thing wont come till 2015 to europe...
Well, I sort of have been wanting to replace the old one, since it has gotten annoying scratches on the upper screen over time. I blame the silly upwards curving lower screen borders.
Also, the Neds ("N 3 DS" geddit?) pretty much has a circle pad pro built into it, which is a plus. Means more games from here on will include that as an controller option to awkward touch screen poking in a way too fast paced game.
And changeable faceplates?! Do you know what this means??? No more blowing 250€$ on a special edition system and bother with data transfers, but definetely under a 100€$ on just a special face plate!

I'm actually really looking forward to this. My original 3DS is looking pretty rough and I was planning on picking up a 3DS XL. This new enhanced model gives me extra incentive to replace it, though it looks like I'll be waiting for a little longer.
>The reason I got a 3DSXL(SMTIV) is finally going to come out in Europe(I'm not getting it).
>New 3DS.
My god, I hope they will have some kind of exchange program here in Europe because I'm NOT spending 3999SEK on a new console again when I have no clue if any of the games are actually going to come out here.
These are the last 3DS games I'm getting:
- Smash Bros. For(because for all the shit I give Nintendo Smash is always fun even if it's biased)
- Persona Q(since it looks like it will actually be released in Europe)
- Curtain Call(because SE releases on time in Europe and because they are going to support the game with new music)
- Pokémon ?(no clue what version)
- BD 2(if it doesn't come out on PSVITA)
After these I'm out since nothing else interests me. Might sell the system if N 3 DS gets a new Metroid.
Edit: Also that

I have a 3DS XL and am mostly disappointed by this news. I am definitely not willing to fork over more money for a console that, for right now, only has one game.
As we got a 3DS in our household last month, I'm kind of pissed.
Also the naming is going to be incredibly confusing for the average joe.
I'm getting it. Xenoblade Chronicles on the go is a pretty attractive thing.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Again, we have no confirmation (as far as I'm aware) on an English name.
I've had a 3DS since day one. It's been replaced twice under warranty, and this one would have been too, but I missed the deadline. It's by no means in bad condition, but a better-designed model would be nice. Not to mention I'll be able to trade with myself in Gen VI Pokemon games. And Xenoblade. Can't forget that.
I got my XL about a year ago. While it has a few scratches,I still think its fine.So don't think I'm trading it in for an upgrade,at least yet.Even with Xenoblade Chronicles being the only thing revealed so far and being a rare Wii game port doesn't really hook me to the product(I'd honestly much rather have the Wii version, even though its expensive as hell).

My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013I don't mind upgrading, though I'd keep my OG 3DS. It's still perfectly fine. Just like my OG DS. I doubt I'll get Xenoblade as I already have it for the Wii.
My 3DS is getting a bit battered now so I might upgrade. Depends on the price though and a good bundle would be preferable. Hoping for a Monster Hunter 4 one.
So, I just saw the news about the new 3DS. You know, it's kind of funny, since I've just pre-ordered a special edition 3DS XL for smash bros. Paid 230 euros for it, and since smash bros comes on it pre-installed, I had to contact my store to cancel my pre-order for that.
And now they announce this. Sorry, Nintendo, I really, really love you guys and I'll be loyal to the grave, but right now, I have exactly one thing to say to you:
MOTHERFUCKERS!
I hope they don't plan on bringing the new 3DS to Japan in a few weeks while making everyone else wait until 2015.
I'm going to say it'll be holiday in Japan and February-April here.
This seems to be built for the Monster Hunter crowd, seeing how they emphasized it with MH. So releasing it in Japan is their priority.
Cassidy:They already said there's no plans to release it this year. Next year? Definitely.
Seriously, what is your problem? Let discussion happen here. You don't need to go out and find the most negative perspective you can and link it here. People are already discussing whether or not they want to buy it.
Sorry, bad habit. Just trying to find opposing viewpoints so as to not feel like the discussion becomes too one-sided.
Basically, the jist is that Nintendo is allowing the 3DS to go through a bit of a drought of software, making this whole thing a bad idea.

There's no reason to drag biased or opposing side arguments in here though. Just let people have their fun. It just annoys people who actually want to discuss it without having someone come in/bring a link in to say how it's the worst thing ever and it shouldn't be bought.

You could just say, man, people don't like the idea of this because [yadda yadda yadda] instead of going roundabout and yanking articles. I mean looking around on the internet, people are kind of pissed at this. I would be kind of pissed too if I bought my 3DS recently, but I bought it several years ago.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Clearly the ideal solution is to wait until the entire Nintendo company dies so that their latest game systems can never go obsolete again.
What's good about the new 3DS? Like the normal 3DS works fine.
Oh really when?
