Then what's the point of trying to get a clearer title? You might as well make the new title a redirect to Dark Is Edgy.
survival of the tight-lippedOK, OK. No redirects, then.
I have a message from another time...*glances at the trope image someone gave it and how it's showing someone cool with an evil aura as opposed to someone exhibiting darkness powers*
I'd say yes.

Doom And Gloom works well. It fits the pattern of elemental puns and the others arn't any clearer either.
Australia The country with a 2 party system But all the power with independentsI like "Darken The Doorway;" like Light The Way, it's not going to be mistaken for anything else (like Shadow Play might).
Another suggestion: Bringing The Night.
I despise hypocrisy, unless of course it is my own."I like "Darken The Doorway;" like Light The Way"
That's not a good name either. I'm checking the wicks, and over a third so far (that don't appear to be false positives) confuse it for plain illumination. I'll have to put that on a trope repair thread as well.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Someone said Doom and Gloom, I propose Gloom,Doom, and Boom. Or Doom, Gloom, and Boom.
What about Edge of Darkness? Though it might cause confusion with the movie with mel Gibson or the British mineserie it was adapted from. Sharp Edge of Darkness maybe?

This might help.
Edit: Of the ones listed there, Keeping It Dark works best.

Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information. That implies being dark is expected of people, not that darkness itself is a weapon.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I like Wielding The Darkness.
survival of the tight-lippedIs Wielding The Darkness an existing saying?
Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information.Still like Doom And Gloom fits with the rest of the elemental tropes and sounds good... wtb a crowner!

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!^ Those tropes are not fitting because they are puns. They are fitting because they are indicative and are puns as well.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.@ Silver: No. But it's clear, which is more than any of the others can claim.
@ Raso: Still think it sounds like an angst thing. Let's bring the crowners on.
survival of the tight-lippedAphotic Attack? — not very punny but gets the point across
^^^ well I think its indicative for an elemental trope.
^^ I don't know, the gloom does but the doom doesn't I think it gets the point across.. I do not like Wielding The Darkness because its just so plain. I guess crowner or we can attempt to come up with something better.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!It's not indicative of an elemental trope, since it's a stock phrase, not a pun.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. Then how about Death And Decay? (shamelessly stolen from World Of Warcraft.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!^ That would be the necromancy trope.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickBesides, "X And Y" is not the name format of the elemental tropes.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Actually, it would more likely be a "poison" element trope. Zombies would be the necromancy power.
Fight smart, not fair.
Make Wielding The Darkness a redirect?
