Oh boy, I sure hope this turns out to be at least half as good as Melty Blood.

Holy cow, this is awesome! Even if it is bad it will be good for the lulz value. And if it is good, well, it will be awesome.

What is the platform? I would love if it is for PC, but I don't think I am so lucky. I wonder if someone would ever translate it. Maybe Witch-Hunt, after finishing the main game (there is, like, only 2 more to go, right?)

If I know anything about japanese fighting games I'd guess its for arcades, PC and maaaaybe PS 3. Also it looks like they are only taking characters from the first four episodes, I'd love to see Dlanor, Will Wright, Amakusa, Erika, Lambda, Bernkastel, Featherine and Yasu (switching personalities and fighting styles on the fly like Guilty Gear's ABBA) as fighting game characters. Strangely they seem to have left out Gaap, but maybe she's a secret character. Maybe they could even sneak in Goldsmith as another secret char if they get creative about how his magic power is supposed to work (mainly summonings).

If it is for PC (yes!) then they could add the rest as an expansion. I find understandable they started low without including Chiru on this.

I wonder if there are more secret characters. Even without Chiru they can use Kung-Fu George and Jessica badass brawling from EP 4, not to mention Goldsmith. Heck, since they got pre-Chiru Battler to fight they can go for pretty much anyone. The only characters I don't remember fighting at any point prior to EP 4 are Natsuhi, Kumasawa, Hideyoshi and Nanjo. Making a fighting game without including Musou Rosa seems like a crime.

About the screenshots, it seem they are using actual moves from the Sound Novel, but inventing a few things. Particularly this and this, from the two red haired siblings. I suppose there is no much choise, since they don't really fight.

Also, "Chiester"? Is this the official spelling for "Siesta"? I wonder if the Witch-Hunt will change this.

Winchester Shotguns. Chiester. Maybe the "real" name is actually "Chester".

Also I guessed it would be for PC because that's the precedent set by the Touhou fighting games, Eternal Fighter Zero and Melty Blood. Melty Blood did get an arcade release but I'm not sure on the other two.

Lurking in the Animesuki forum (where the Witch-Hunt usually shows up) I discovered it seems to be, indeed, for PC. More importantly, it seems the WH plans to translate it if there is a story mode and if they can hack the game. However, since this will be released with EP 8 and the PS 3 port, that translation will be low priority. (I wouldn't expect it for any soon then end of 2011)
