You talk about people here making a big deal about a dub, but the only person I see making a big stink over the whole thing is you.

It seems to bother you that we're talking about it more than the game itself.

It's a big part of the game experience and a lot of people have gotten attached to it over multiple games, why shouldn't people talk about it?

I don't wanna feel responsible for that guy raising a stink...

Aaaanyway, if "Strangely Compelling" are... Wait, they at least dubbed CP, don't tell me some internal changes over the past three years made it so they would skip out on CF.

Ps I'm going nowhere, but do they decide if there will be a dub or not? If so, then refer back to my last paragraph.

It's being talked about everywhere among the fanbase: FA Qs, GAF, Here, Dustloop I'd imagine as well.

The amount of people trying to downplay it I also feel are a problem; even if you never gave a shit about the dub or you're a competitive player and don't care either way, you could at least respect that there are people who care and the dub was a very important selling point for them. Instead of trying to talk down to them.

Yeah. I mean, for people who don't care, it can get really annoying when everyone seems to make a big deal out of it, but for people who do, it can get frustrating where others give them shit over caring.

Both sides get too passionate, get offended at the other, and then it stops being about the issue (or if the issue even is an issue) and becomes the two sides insulting each other and turning it into a massive flame war.

I have to admit, Revelator not getting a dub didn't really bother me.

But for Central Fiction to potentially not get one would be puzzling to me since that's an established feature that's relatively good and liked by most consumers.

So if Saya was a doll all along (which I guess makes sense because Jubei rescued them from one of Relius's labs?), what does that make Jin and Ragna? But maybe that's not really an issue.

I think it's confirmed they're blood related siblings in the material collections, and their versus theme is even called "Bloodline".

What's with the mark on Ragna's collarbone? I've seen it a few times now and I still don't think it's ever been explained.

There's no explanation for the symbol yet sadly. It even shows up in random places such as Mai and Tsubaki's clothing, so maybe it's just there to look cool lol.

People have apparently said that it resembles...something. I think it had to do with the Murakamuo units (forgive me for spelling error). Rags and Jinny might be "dolls" like Noel, Saya, Nu, and Lambda. Jin can't eat meat, remember? If you don't, I understand. It's on the wiki.

Can anybody explain the significance of the Azure Grimioire absorbing attacks into Rags's soul?

It means that attacks Ragna sustains will never really go away, even if time itself is reset to when those wounds would have never happened in the first place, because the Grimoire still "remembers" it even if it was technically retconned.

This only applies to wounds by magic and Noxes though, since they were designed to kill the Black Beast.

I will not understand Japanese artists and their weird aversion to drawing nipples, even on guys.

I'm currently working on a big analysis of fighting game stories/Street Fighter V Story review, and since i'm struggling to pinpoint them, can anyone link any of the particular bad Terumi faces from the CS DEEN cutscenes?

About CF's dubbing or lack thereof, I think the best thing that could happen is the localized version getting massively delayed (by many months). If not, the next best thing would be Arcsys adding the dub in the EXTEND, but like I said, next best thing.

Has the localized CF been announced? Have they announce the release date of it?

The lack of dub info really makes people's toes crossed, methinks.

Speaking of Saya being a doll, I recall it's from Relius modifying Saya's body. Besides dolls (especially with obvious joints) can't grow anyway.

Aksys announced they're localizing it back at AX; its coming this Fall or Winter, dub is up in the air. None of the VA's have been contacted and Aksys/Arc are being quiet about the issue.

Well, so we assume that the actors haven't been told.

I honestly think it's just some contract thing preventing them from saying "yes" or "no" definitively.

You would know something is wrong if enough actors say they were not contacted. If it was just Seitz, Vee and Vincent saying so, there is some hope, but not if half of the V As say they were not contacted (dunno about that).

You'd have a point, but said actors play all three main characters and would likely have been among the first to be contacted for recording. Just saying.

...You know, when I say contract, I'm saying they're under contract not to say when they're dubbing something.

It is a possibility that Seitz and Vee commenting on how they haven't heard anything is the two of them making an in-joke.
