If you see a multiboxer in a BG, use a mass-fear like Howl of Terror. That'll really screw up a multi-boxer's day :D.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!Unfortunately my main is a hunter, and I don't think we get one of those that works on humans, just beasts.
A brighter future for a darker age.NEWS FLASH
Apparently MMO Champion has gotten hold of a ton of new info on the next expansion. Nothings been confirmed so far but the changes are radical to say the least.
Yeah, I'm calling bullshit.

Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!We're probably at least a year off another expansion, right? WOTLK wasn't that long ago.
A brighter future for a darker age.Even though it's probably not true, that actually looks interesting enough that if it is, I'd look into playing World Of Warcraft again.
Goddamn. Old Azeroth is getting trashed and redone completely. The two new races are confirmed. Azshara and Deathwing are back. This is going to be huge.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Again none of this has been confirmed. I find a lot of these things unbelievable, Tauren Paladins being one of them. And reworking the entirety of the old world seems like a programming nightmare.
Also Garrosh Hellscream as Warchief?! The Horde is fucked if that happens.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!I kind of think that's the point. Thrall is too goody two-shoes to let the conflict escalate into full scale war, so he gets to be the next Guardian, which means he can't lead the Horde anymore.
If this stuff is for real, it'll be the biggest change to the game since launch. There've been some hints, though - a lot of this stuff has been datamined from game files in recent patches.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Except that the comics have stated that Garona and medivh's kid is destined to be the next guardian. I doubt that's an accurate leak. Also: nooooo, not Cairne! That I can see happening.
Some of the stuff, like the night elf mages and light based tauren classes, the(let's get it out of the way) Holy Cows, if you will, have been hinted at. I don't, however, see the undead becoming hunters en masse. It just doesn't jive. The hunter's hat is that they're close to nature and animals in particular, which the undead are far, far removed from. Some of it is believable, but a lot of it's way the hell out there.
When in deadly danger, when beset by doubt, run in little circles, wave your arms and shout.I can't see them changing the old world so drastically, if only for the simple reason that it'll make the Loremaster achievement impossible.
Who says? there's still going to be roughly the same number of areas and roughly the same number of quests.
When in deadly danger, when beset by doubt, run in little circles, wave your arms and shout.Cutting off access to old quests by, for example, flooding Thousand Needles, doesn't strike me as Blizzard's style. Also, I imagine the new quests will have new achievements rather than counting towards the old ones. Although I suppose they could implement a Caverns of Time option to go back to the old Kalimdor or whatever.
I've suspected a remake of the old continents to allow flying mounts for a while, and that'd be a fairly major remake; I wouldn't be surprised if some major changes happen, even if not THESE ones.
A brighter future for a darker age.Are the comics absolutely Canon? It wouldn't be the first time Blizzard has radically diverged from its own lore.
What's interesting is that the sites reporting on this stuff are treating it as 99.99% likely. Some have even gone as far as 100%. That means that there must be corroboration in the form of insider leaks or other authoritative sources.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I'm not so sure, one of those "trusted sources" seems to be Something Awful. Putting all this new information in suspect.
I say we save our judgments until Blizzcon.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!Blizzard has made it quite clear that gameplay beats consistency, from their POV.
A brighter future for a darker age.Yes but they've never gone THIS far before.
Also let me reiterate, this information is coming from SOMETHING FUCKING AWFUL! It's very likely that this a giant trolling attempt. Besides there was once a fake set of 3.1 patch notes that all the major sites were convinced they were true, and look how those turned out.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!Any proportion of these rumors that come from SA can be automatically discounted, I think. Has anyone ever made it clear how much did?
That said, a reworking of the original continents I believe is quite likely at some point. There's a heck of a lot of stuff that is effectively irrelevant to the modern game now, a lot of stuff that I know I would have skipped entirely were it not for having explorer's curiosity. They also really need to make those continents accessible to flying mounts.

A brighter future for a darker age.[quoteblock]Malfurion Stormrage will be returning to Azeroth to aid in the creation of the new Guardian of Tirisfal - Thrall![/quoteblock]
Bullshit. Mal is a druid and Thrall is a shaman. Guardians are mages. It makes no sense.
Then again, this wouldn't be the first time Blizz hasn't made sense.
Apparently the thing about Thrall becoming the Guardian of Tirisfal was from SA. And possibly the thing about Goblins and Worgen.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!Goblins and Worgen has been rumored for some time, ever since the 3.2 patch included Hallows Eve masks for them, and the G Ms started giving "wink wink nod nod no comment" replies when asked about it.
Also, the game files for 3.2.2 have some additional material that hints at the veracity of at least some of the rumors.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Or it could just be Blizzard teasing us. Besides the Hallows End masks don't really mean much, Goblins and Werewolves ARE classic monsters. It makes sense to make them into Halloween masks.
If you mean the Onyxia thing, Blizzard said that's only for the 5th anniversary. Though if mean those quests that point to Night Elf mages and Tauren Priests (but definitely not Paladins), then you may have a point.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!Only other Halloween masks have been player races though, so...
And yeah, there's quests pointing towards taurens finding The Light (which is in the game right now) and Night elves making peace with the highborne (which is on the PTR for 3.2.2.) Both of those are pretty solid hints.
When in deadly danger, when beset by doubt, run in little circles, wave your arms and shout.World Of Warcraft Goblins aren't monsters in the Halloween sense, and the masks are of player races, not monsters, anyway. I'd say the masks are fairly good evidence if only for the fact that they bothered making a female Worgen face.
Death knight. I'd seen a shaman one before, but those ones were Horde.
Seems like a bizarre thing to do to me.
(edit) Ah, read the article on wowwiki, now that I know what it's called to do that. Legal so long as the automation is strictly limited, it seems, and of course you have to pay for all those characters. Seems like more outlay than I'd want, but hey ...
