That's unusual. Rez timers should only occur when you die multiple times in a row. And 6 minutes is way too long for one of those.

ummm no I see the issue L umm the 6 minute timer is NOT a rez timer, if you die you have to corpse run period, that timer is how long until the game FORCES you to go to the graveyard instead of the laying there hoping someone will come by to rez you.

O.o.....Crap I have been playing WAY to much Swtor, I complete forgot that their rez system was unique. I was attributing it to World Of Warcraft when it had never been there.

For some reason, the Firebird's Kilt isn't a kilt. It's a pair of shorts.

A character concept/fanfiction idea I had: A single mother in her forties must return to the craft of her youth and family when she is dismissed from her job as a school teacher, becoming a "Consulting Mystic" for the dark arts. She takes all manner of jobs investigating all manner of strange, dark, or demonic happenings in order to try and continue to give her young son a good life.

The story would be a "common man's" view of the Warcraft universe- the action never actually leaving Stormwind city, but the politics and greater conflicts influencing the plot to varying degrees- she encounters persons of all classes and races in her work, ranging from adventures and heroes to traveling merchants, scholars, etc. Another big thing would be "normalizing" some of the elements of the Warcraft universe, both the woman and her son are refuges from Gilneas, and afflicted with the Worgen Curse, but she treats the same way a modern day person might treat living with bipolar disorder or epilepsy, she continues to live her life best she can while treating the symptoms, and tries to do the same for her son. Inner City politics would be another big one: the poor/rich dived, the Warlocks having to stay hidden despite being on the Alliance's side, the treatment of non-human races, etc all being involved in the plot.

The woman herself is hard-lined and earnest, with a high value set on discipline, hard work, and education. But despite being though and sometimes harsh on him she does genuinely care for her son, who means the world to her, and everything she does is ultimately for him. The bond between them, and their relationship as mother and son would be over reaching central theme of the story, though out which the boy grows up from shy and reserved child to a strong willed young man in his own right.

I have been reduced to /saying "MOVE YOUR ASS" when arriving at quest hubs and finding everyone with their proto-drakes and phoenixes and mammoths right up on the quest giver (occasionally it works). I honestly don't understand why people do that. I mean, are they trolling the other players? If so then it's working because im mad bro.

Yes, of course they are. Why wouldn't they be doing it to piss others off? I especially hate 747-sized tauren on drakes. We're lucky more of them aren't Pv P flagged.

Maybe they should automatically turn on a character's PVP flag when his/her/its clickbox overlaps an NPC's?

(Bad idea, I know, but interesting to consider).

Doesn't do any good for players on the same side as you, nor does it work in sanctuaries.

Blizzard could do what they did with the Horde JP and VP vendors in Orgrimmar: stick them behind an invisible wall, so they couldn't be stacked on.

So it looks like Garrosh's tenure as Warchief is coming to an end. Who should replace him? My top choices would be Vol'jin, Baine, or Saurfang. I would be fine with Thrall again, but the fact that he was the one who appointed Garrosh might leave a bad taste in people's mouths.

Saurfang is probably only the real choice of those three. I can't see today's Orcs following a Troll and I'm not sure Baine would hold on to the position if he got it. Not sure Thrall would either, both of those two have their own affairs they'd rather settle as far as I recall.

This is amazing. Someone built the entire World Of Warcraft map in Minecraft and made it available for download. The scope of such a project is unbelievable.

My top battle pets are level 19 now and I've beaten all the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor trainers (that I can get, anyway). My item level is up to 450, and my guild might be starting normal raids tonight. Maybe.

How was the pet leveling?

Grummies are one of the weirder races in the game. The mogu found troggs and made Napalese gopher-men.

I can't be completely certain, but it seems that Blizzard dramatically lowered the health of encountered wild pets recently. I've had a much easier time defeating them — I even captured two level 23-24 pets yesterday with my level 18-19 team. Leveling is a grind, but it's one that you can easily devote your time to on a casual basis and it gives you a great excuse to head out into Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor again.
