No one gives a fuck I daresay no one would really care if that happened.

My FF.net account@Zipp
In regards to the last episode, I thought it was kind of moeish, though I suppose that is to be expected. I found the whole Companion Cube thing with the guitars to be just a little creepy. Also, I could not make heads or tails of the preview this time.
"irhgT nm0w tehre might b ea lotof th1nmgs i dont udarstannd, ubt oim ujst goinjg to keepfollowing this pazth i belieove iN !!!!!1 dI represent that remark.
Ecstasy is Sustained IntensityAgain, don't mind Zipp. He's trolling a show that's too boring for the effort.
<3I don't care about him in the slightest. I was just being blunt.
My FF.net accountI rather like the new song....I do hope they do something with the song Mugi came up with in Ep 3 (Honey Sweet Tea Time, right?)
I still find the fanclub creepy though.
Loved the really short bit in the singing where Mio closes her eyes and you see the little marks around her head, thought it was a nice touch.
Tumblr here.I'm just wondering... is the Mio fanclub an actual school-approved club? If so, uh... Sakura High is a very strange school for allowing that.
I do hope they do something with the song Mugi came up with in Ep 3 (Honey Sweet Tea Time, right?)
Yeah, Mugi's the second best singer IMO.^^
The Pure Pure Heart (Heartcatch Pretty Cure?) CD will be out on June 2nd.
June 2nd, thanks for that heads up. Actually yeah, Minako Kotobuki has the next best voice after Youko Hikasa... Aki Toyosaki is just Squeak Co, face it. :p
My FF.net accountI thought it was nice to see a song being performed in K-On! again. The whole stalker/Mio fan club thing is one of the only things that I knew was in the Manga that was not in the first series. It makes sense that it was animated, but the way stalking is addressed in the show is kind of odd. I felt bad that no one took it seriously. Then again it probably did not need to be taken seriously considering the circumstances.
What was Mio's poem about by the way, something to do with a recipe? Whatever it was it was difficult for me to understand. Of course that should be expected because I tend to have a harder time following a show subbed.
"irhgT nm0w tehre might b ea lotof th1nmgs i dont udarstannd, ubt oim ujst goinjg to keepfollowing this pazth i belieove iN !!!!!1 dMio's poem was using a recipe as a metaphor for how happy her fans make her. I think. That's what I got out of it.
For having been so serious about the Light Music Club at first, the sweets love seems to have infected her.
Ecstasy is Sustained IntensityAn ingredient for the caramel sauce I mix for you,
Granulated sugar, brown sugar,
Maple, honey, wasabon sugar,
All ingredients for the caramel sauce I mix for you,
My heart is also like caramel sauce
A little burn matters not, for you help make this sauce taste better!
The "caramel sauce" in the second and fifth line is Mio's music (fitting considering her lyrics). The 6th line changes the use of caramel sauce to represent Mio's heart or feelings. (Implying that she's a sweet sensitive girl like her music). The fangirls burn the sauce (Mio's heart) because Mio finds them a little scary and creepy. However, she says that that's okay because the fangirls make the sauce (both her music and heart) taste better. Meaning that fangirls increase the fun and feel of being in a band and writing music for real fans makes her music better.

Sugary-sweet lyrics to a silly song from a mediocre moeshow are SERIOUS BUSINESS.
Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.Hey, it is NOT mediocre! On the surface it is, but it's pretty cute overall.>:(

It's a poem. Pure Pure Heart appears to be okay though.
My FF.net accountOh OK, well, I haven't seen any of season 2.
Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.Season 2 has better animation but is otherwise more of the same. So your opinion wouldn't change much even if you had, most likely.
I had predicted that, which is why I didn't end up watching it.
Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.I actually think that the second season is recognizably better overall. There seems to be less Fanservice (no beach episodes and stuff like that) and more actual characterization, specifically flashbacks. Sure, I do not think K-On! has amazing character development or anything, but I am liking the second season overall.
I thought episode 8 was pretty interesting. It is nice to get a little backstory. Still, this whole uncertainty about the future thing seems pretty common in Slice of Life shows. I was also reminded of Lucky Star specifically when Ritsu took off her headband in the flashback. I thought her hair style looked almost exactly like Misao's then.
"irhgT nm0w tehre might b ea lotof th1nmgs i dont udarstannd, ubt oim ujst goinjg to keepfollowing this pazth i belieove iN !!!!!1 dThe backstory here is really cute and gave us insight in the relationships between Nodoka and Yui, as well as Ritsu and Mio. Also, I felt kind of sad whenever Yui and Nodoka would rub the turtle figure on the stairs because it's like Yui's the slow turtle who could never do anything on time right... :((
Not to mention that the last time I watched something involving this turtle metaphor, it ended up involving 2 siblings trying to send each other to hell.

The day K-On comes to the US is the day I leave the country.
