Oh, thank you! =^w^=
Very nice Jabrosky!
Hogan, a character for the big story I'm working on.
Ahaha! I see I'm not the only one writing a story~
By the way, I's finally actually started t' move forward wif' it. I'm the kind o' writer who writes sumptin', then re-writes it 'bout seven different times 'fore sayin' it's good 'nough. God dammit Stitch, why must ye' have 'dat weird way 'ah speakin'?
Re-writing for style is fun~

A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.Oh, I'm certainly working on a story. Several actually, but only two in prime focus. In fact, I was drawing the characters and some of the happenings in the story years before I started writing it. Probably because I've yet to start writing it. I've still got twelve procrastination points left...
this place needs me hereAll my life I've been imagining up a story, but even some of the smaller things like the main characters are still blurry. I only have thought up three good characters. I need ~15! That and my constant fluctuations in the story about 'I want to be the hero in it!' and 'No I want to be the villian!'.
I'm both.

A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.I'm mostly just working on the characters for now. It doesn't have much of a plot. So, what do you guys think of Hogan? <:3
He looks like he needs freckles, but that's just personal taste.

Similar situation here, only I've gone through countless story ideas, shucking them one by one until I've come to what I have now, which I've been mentally working on for about four years. Quite a few characters, working on plot some more but a lot of it is there. If I was pressed, I could probably come up with a decent synopsis.
I can't tell entirely from just a front view from his face, but he does look like he's lacking something. A little plain, if you will. Otherwise nice picture, good expression, and whatnot.
this place needs me hereHere is a second picture of Hogan. Hopefully its a bit better.
I rather like his nose (I fail at drawing Caucasian noses)
Random Egyptian woman whom I've named Nefersit

Whoa, this thread is moving faster than usual.
Here's some new art and stuff:
Bee girl, possible name: Ibeeya.
The Princess being an action girl.
I like totally fixed that image of the Knight and Princess, I hope. Also, the Knight's name is Gofrido, and the Princess is Pifira or "Iffy Piffy" as some have called her. I was gonna name her Iffy, but it didn't sound right, so I took the P and ra from the name of Princess she is based of of "Pierah" and added it to iffy, thus, Pifira. Gofrido is close to waht the original name of the character the Knight is based of, "Gofero", who was originally "Gofreddo". Also, the weapons where done in illustrator as vectors, which are really good for structured objects like machines.
I've written many scenario outlines, an interesting one is that the Princess, on the day she is made ruler of her own principality is confronted by a Jester who uses her illusion power to take on her appearence. She then tricks the Royal Guards into thinking the real Princess is the impostor. The real Princess manages to escape via a garbage shoot and ever since then lives in the slums while the fake Princess takes her place and rules for years. That's how it starts out, but because of that, some of the neat scenes from other outline aren't compatible with this version without heavy modifications to the point that the scene loses its impact. I would have to write something completely different for the ending of this. Nearly all the outlines have the same ending though, with some variations to the final fight.

My Twitter!I like Gofrido's design. Though structurally basic and a touch distorted, it gives a good sense of the character and is overall pretty entertaining. I'm less keen on the design of the two girls, as I find the eye dimorphism between those characters and the knight sort of distracting and kind of stereotyped. Not bad, but not my thing.
So, a couple pages back, I posted a link to a set of sketches. No-one seems to have noticed, and I'd rather a rain of bile than no feedback at all.
A brief note: While many of these are completely random, a few of these loosely qualify as "concept sketches" for the thing I'm planning. Or all of them could be, depending on your point of view, as my writing and sketching tend to feed off of each other. In any event... Again, in stereo.

I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.@Fulgrate they look very nice. I think they really look much better colored and shaded :). My favorite is princess Pifiria
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.JHM: Thanks. Yeah, I'm a bit into the dimorphism stuff, like how in some species males are bigger than females, while in others, the female is bigger, or how males and females can be completely different colors, or even look like completely different species. I apologize if its a bit stereotypical. If its any consolation, theres males with large pupils and females with small pupils in the story, although usually depicted as a tomboy for females with such eyes and eccentrics for such males.
Also, your drawings are neat. Their snouts give them this other-worldly look.
Fallen Legend: Ah, thanks. Right now I'm trying to go in the direction of bunny eared lawyer/cloud cuckoolander for her, at least for the present outline. For all I know, the final outline has her with something else entirely.
Some quick art, didn't have time to digi-ink it.
Some Fighting stances and Gofiro vs a Dragon.

My Twitter!@JHIM: I like your sketches. They would be perfect for a horror series.
I actually appreciate that you put some thought into the idea behind it, even if it isn't necessarily my cup of tea.
I really like Nibenium's war paint/facial markings in the first set of sketches, and while some of the posing in the fight in the second is a bit off—forgivably so, it's all preliminary after all—the dragon's very realistically snaky head structure is pretty damn cool.
As for the sketches, thanks, both of you. I was going for a certain alien quality in them, and I'm happy that it evoked such responses.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Oh hay, guess who finished a new drawing?
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.JHM: Ah, so you were going for an alien look. Interesting. Nibenium's a jester that uses a black/white stick that is used to do visual illusions, except her illusions are more on the mental side rather than visual. Although, I might end up going with the "mirage" style of illusion than use hallucinations.
Shadow Dimentio: He looks like a fighter that uses his smarts.
