Not to mention that's not his original voice actor.

Yeah, didn't care much for differences either, uninterested in the meantime.

A termie armor with jump pack? That's heresy to the laws of physics, but awesome.

[up] That jump reminded me of C.S. Goto - and that's bad. :/

A teleporter is more realistic anyway.

They've brought back the awesome scale of the combat from the 1st, but the graphics aren't as good as before. I guess they decided to sacrifice that in exchange for getting the game to run on older systems, or to tolerate the higher unit cap with less lag?

To me it looks like Angelos's huge leaps are exaggerated so you can make them out at this scale. Though if I'm right, that makes me wonder what forms sync kills would take.

The new voice actor made me fleetingly think that this scene might be a flashback to Cyrene - he sounded brash and young, but then he's still got that head of white hair.

Eh, not too interested in the space marines. Call me when the Imperium's real heroes show up - the damn Guard.

Technically that was Retribution (and maybe the other two depending on how long it took for the splinter fleet to get from Tarsis Ultra to Calderis).

And they'll just quietly ignore the fact that they've set a game in M42.tongue

I need a new sig.

I need a honest answer from you guys.

I'm planning to buy the complete collection of the 1st Dawn of War games in DVD from some sites like ebay. Particularly those they were published by THQ before the company went bankrupt.

So if you're wondering why don't i just buy and download it from Steam, well there are two reasons for that:

1. My internet provider has set up a data usage limit on how many Gigabytes of data you can download before shutting down. So i'm not risking downloading it from Steam if the game files are large.

2. I don't use Steam. Correction. I don't trust Steam since it's actually a DRM software. I don't care how generous your so called Lord Gaben is in Steam Summer sales, but i will never use Steam as long as DRM-free game stores like gog.com, humble bundle and Itch.io exists which the latter three i gladlly buy games from.

And now to my question. Are the THQ editions of the Dawn of War Complete collection DVD games DRM-Free? I ask this because when i was thinking of getting a Total War Shogun 2 DVD version and i learn the DVD version still requires you to activate Steam first before you can play the game. Since both Total War and Dawn of War are now published by Sega, i need to know the Steam activation thing is not in the THQ edition of Dawn of War.

No idea for the DOW 1 series (since I bought it from Steam), but I know DOW 2 is on something that wishes it were Steam, and truly fails.

I haven't bought those versions of DoW1. My brother got DoW1 on a Steam sale.

[up][up], [up]DoW2's been entirely on Steam since the last 2 years.

[up]You mean pre-Retribution DoW2 got a patch that got rid of GFWL? That's an awesome news.
