It was a joke.
But having more muscles to do the pushing/lifting will increase your effective power anyway, right? So assuming that the rest of her body's muscles and bones can withstand such a feat, yes, having triple the amount of arms should logically increase her maximum effective lifting strength at least threefold (so long as she's using all her arms, that is).
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Well, when you assume the rest of the muscles and bones can withstand it, then yeah, but that's the assumption.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyOh, so Spinny isn't having second thoughts about killing Glass. What's the trope for this "No, you got me wrong. I actually do agree with you, but I have a much better method to achieve what we want to do" situation?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I wonder what Tiger's gonna say.
Also, none? So... they waited until Spinny left to scan?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI think the C-K reaction they're referring to is from actual C-K sources, like the portable reactor that she blew up (which persumably doesn't release any substantial C-K radiation).
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Spinny isn't CK-active. IIRC she wasn't affected by the CK hotspot in early plotline either.
Oh, you're right. Easy to forget that when the fact is rarely highlighted.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Oh, gotcha. Thanks.
I wish to see more of the natural C-K affecting zones.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyGuess she agrees that Glass needs to go, for MM's sake.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I hope MM is gonna be ok.
Oh really when?Me too. Maybe there's a way to mitigate the effects of ALS?
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! The suit she wears is the (fictional) mitigation. As the currently trending "Ice Bucket Challenge" should be making people aware, there isn't a cure at the moment.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy... I completely forgot to make that connection.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenMostly if not wholly because nobody has the faintest evidence and little to no idea about what exactly causes it in the first place. It's one thing to treat the symptoms, it's a whole other matter to fix or eliminate the cause of said symptoms.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. One issue is that the nervous system is one of the few bits you can't just replace.
... Brain cells do actually regenerate, you know. They're just too slow and limited to counteract the effects of senescence or most if not all of neurodegenerative illnesses that afflict them.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Yeah, but for ALS you'd probably need to rip all the cables out and install ones that actually work. Which isn't exactly feasible.
... And my post contradicts this, how?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. When was that implied?
The "but" and the basic assumption that you're replying to the most recent post (i.e. mine) is what implied that.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
But that's not necessarily true. Lifting strength isn't just about how many arms you have and how strong they are.
