The easiest metric I can use for that is, "how much fan art does X character get?", and from what I've observed he's doing pretty well on that front.

Pixiv and twitter walks mainly. I'm sure there are plenty of other resources too, but the language barrier being what it is...

Pixiv is pretty much Twitter log dumps these days.

I have yet to see any fanart of Katakuri. And I dont want to search on Pixiv, that place is scary.

Being a character who doesn't fit into One Piece is a point in his favor imo. One Piece characters suck way too often.

I love One Piece and Im still really temped to sig that. Meh. Too much effort.

I wonder if there will be more restructuring of Big Mom's crew after this whole affair. Snack got demoted, I guess because they thought him losing to someone like Urouge was too disgraceful but after all this I wouldn't be surprised if they rethink that.

Yeah, next they'll demote Katakuri.

Maybe Big Mom will try and punish him by removing some decades of his life, but seeing how badass Kata is I think it'll go as well as it did with Jinbei

I mean, that's just hurting her own business. And, well, she can do other things to these people.

I don't think Big Mom is far sighted enough to really worry about things like that. Gluttony has been her byword from day one.

Yeah, but she'll be snapped out of that soon enough. At this point it's still possible the angle he's going for is that the cake will make her so happy she's just willing to let them go this once.

It'd be a bit funny if she still killed Perosporo for lying to her but I don't see that happening for multiple reasons.

I'm taking in general, not just her hunger pangs. For that very generality, however, I could see Big Mom doing exactly that.

Some Vol. 88 SBS tidbits so far:

• Perospero's, Cracker's, and Smoothie's ages are all given (50, 45, and 35 respectively)
• Real-world nationalities and professions for the Worst Generation, which may or may not make any sense (though Oda's realized that just "Africa" is not a proper nationality! Progress!):
  • Blackbeard - Somalia, archaeologist
  • Law - Germany, doctor
  • Kid - Scotland, weapons Dealer
  • Capone - Italy, shoe store owner
  • Drake - Turkey, animal caretaker
  • Apoo - China, DJ
  • Urouge - India, hostess club manager
  • Bonney - Australia, pizza shop
  • Hawkins - Egypt, designer
• The first entry though is basically the SBS at its purest; you've got an actually informative question (the Minks' "garchu" exclamation was taken from a Nepalese expression meaning, "I love you"), a lewd one (I'm sure everyone apart from the letter-sender was dying to know if Mink mammaries are fur-covered too), and Shit Oda Says (Don't overeat or you'll get fat, sugar imbalance, and even die prematurely!). All it's missing is a penis question and it would be perfect.

Also from the SBS, Amande is apparently the third daughter. She looks way better than Brulee, but then again, Brulee looks much older than many of her older siblings...

Her ugliness was a specific thing for Brulee, wasn't it?
