Damn Big Mom has actually has a very unique dream. I mean wow its like an inverse of Whitebeard's dream when you think about it.
Also that ending was hilarious. The fuck happened? Why is there so many copies? Hahaha

Secret SignatureThat baby, man.
"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)Yeah, I'm right there with Pekoms.
I like that Big Mom has a nice dream. It reminds me of Enel who also had a pretty noble dream but wanted to blow up Skypiea in the process of getting there.
There was nothing noble about wanting to go to the moon. I believe that Enel was the most legitimately insane character in this series.
¿?¡!All the same, actually getting what he wanted seemed to have actually helped Enel become a better person.
Well, less homicidal, which I guess IS better...
A post from the OP Reddit, on the impending end of Bleach and thus the "Holy Shonen Trinity" era:
"Trio... duet... solo..."
End of an age, that is what that is.
"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)Heh you can prolly make some comparisons to Whitebeard here. What with his line of there being no ship to sail him to the next era.
Hopefully One Piece does have a ship.
Hopefully with no intense seasonal rot or major fuck-ups.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."In Japan? Not even a question, and I'm hearing talk about Western people migrating from the Bleach fandom towards the last one standing. And yes, there are other Shonen series that are taking the West by storm, but that discussion is for another generation.

"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)Out of curiosity what are those shonen you're talking about? I'm guessing My Hero Academia is one of them at least.
Fairy Tail has been gaining a bit of stature, though it too is very nigh to the end.
One Punch Man has slightly over two seasons of content to adapt, so it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Dragon Ball Super has been fantastic recently, also.
Super is more of a revival of an old series, so I'm not sure if I count it.
That being said, both One Punch Man and Boku No Hero Academia (both riffing on American Superheroes comically enough) seem like they could take up the slack that Bleach and Naruto left behind. The latter, as has been pointed out, began around the time Naruto ended even.
One Strip! One Strip!Super is eh, in my opinion. Though the concept of the shonen "Big Three" ends with Bleach, One Punch Man, Attack On Titan and other works will still have popularity in the west.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThe "Big Three" concept always seemed weird to me anyway.
People like their Power Trio in America and Europe, I guess. Four would be more of an Asian thing, and Seven would mean more work figuring out popularity. Three would be by comparison easy, crisp, and triangular.
"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)It only really worked because Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece premiered within a few years of each other in the West when they gained notoriety. In Japan i imagine the preference was always different (Bleach wasn't near the top of WSJ like Naruto and One Piece often were).
It helps & is added by the fact that all three are the most famous spiritual successors of DBZ which is the most famous manga period in the west after all.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Which is a weird metric since only Bleach kinda-sorta matches DBZ in how it runs. Naruto got there but only by the endgame (flashy clashes of superpowers were present before the final war but were meant to be rare spectacles in the story), One Piece is slowly getting there but the power scale is still much lower and the lack of standardized energy attacks makes things seem a lot more varied.
Edit: One Piece is also the only one that retains the adventure aspect where struggling with the environment or struggling to attain a non-conflict-related goal has importance alongside the combat. It's a spiritual successor to Dragon Ball in that respect, but not Z.

The Big Three was always a Western concept. In Japan it's basically "One Piece and everything else."
Big mom has an unusual dream as far as One Piece villains go. Will Pekoms survive this dangerous situation? probably. and Caesar is in a pickle, while Luffy and company is still in the forest.
