A little surprised the blob knows what pants are, considering many character in the series have no legs.

Well, maybe he can wear them just generally over his lower half.

How much you wanna bet that in the japanese version he says pantsu?

Pantsu in Japanese is generally reserved for unwear, isn't it? Since the ground seems to be made of denim, and I don't know very many people who wear denim underwear, probably not.

Just to reiterate, anyone know the release date for this game?

October 17th, according to this press release. I feel like I shall have to import it, rather than wait for the 2011 European release.

There's some Fridge Horror with this game... but I can't put my finger on it.

I first thought the pants line was nonsensical. It's even better because It Makes Sense in Context.

This is a kind of weird question, but what's the the exact opposite of Yarn? I mean, in Paper Mario I remember battling several bosses that were kind of scissor like- so maybe the last Kirby Boss (other than Mariachi Man) might be like a sewing spindle or something.

No, if you're holding it by the long end, then you get less leverage. It's all physics. The longer the stick, the more force the business end will hit with. It's why, on a sword, the handle is the short end.

Anyone here hoping that iconic Kirby characters like Paint Roller, Bugzzy, Mr. Frosty, Bonkers, Kracko and Chef Kawasaki appear in the game? They were always my favorite bosses and mid-bosses in the handhelds.

I still swear that the fire bird thingy is supposed to be Dyna Blade.

I'm sure it'll have Dyna or Blade in its name along with some fire pun.

Is it me or does the music sounds like something out of Azumanga Daioh?

Also, King Dedede does need a better role. If Meta Knight can have a good role, why not Dedede? He is basically HAL Laboratories' Punching Bag. I say he deserves better.
