Wait, there were 2 P1 mangas?
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.Atlus milking their properties for all it's worth.
What else is new?
maybe?
the manga i was talking about wasnt numbered, but had p1's setting, and the protagonist had the same name listed alongside pierced-ear boy's section on the tvtropes character page.
led to a lot of confusion.

Why do we keeping put those unnoficial names there, anyway?
Donate money to Skullgirls, get a sweet poster.oh and having just checked, it turns out i was wrong, the protagonist of the manga does not share the pierced ear boys name, it shares his dead brothers name.
...
???
—
no clue, but they're handy for when i make a new game file and cant remember the name.

...So it's a spin off manga staring the dead brother?
Maybe a "what if" alternate universe thing?
For me, the P1 guy will always be Jihei Suzakuin, but his friends call him Yuya and his mother's maiden name was Narumi.
EDIT: To clarify, P1 does not have a dead brother. That was something added to the manga...for some reason.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.indeed, jihei suzakuin will always be THE name of the THE p1 protagonist.
(but his nickname is yuya narumi)
Wait, so there's the first manga, which covers the SEBEC quest and some of the SQQ, and then there's another one with different stuff?
I checked the SMT wiki, and there's only one.

Alt account of Angeldog 2437.It's possible that the folks over at the wiki just don't know about it.
I mean, even the first one is pretty obscure.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.oh, no, i just checked the manga and nope, the name is just similar to kazuya, not actually kazuya. the setting is also CLEARLY p2's school, judging by the uniforms. so i pretty much got every aspect of the series wrong. whoops.
i have terrible memory

Oh, that was the manga that I was talking about.
According to someone else in the thread, there be Hastur.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.huh. so even the game is kind of confused about the demon merchant's gender.
SQQ thinks its a he, maki in SEBEC thinks its a she.
also, reiji's normal attack looks kinda like he's spazzing out.

OK that is kinda amusing.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.There has been an update on the Gary Stu Bot from the Naoto spin off thing. He isn't a Super Prototype, instead he is one of the last of the Anti-Shadow robots, having been built alongside Aigis's generation in secret...for some reason.
His character is still dumb and contrived. At least Labrys has an explanation as to why she wouldn't be brought up during P3, this just seems like a excuse to have a Gary Stu bot that no one knows about and thus no one can confirm or deny his existence...except for the new characters in the novel of course.
Personally, being built in secret separately from the "main line" would probably mean he'd end up worse than the main line, as the only person working on them would be the single creator, so some flaws would go unnoticed, and they wouldn't be able to observe and implement all the advances that are going into the seventh generation. He is basically a sixth generation robot with the inexplicable power to turn into a bike and probably put together much more shoddily in comparison.
But of course in the novels themselves he is probably perfect Gary Stu bot who is ten times better than Aigis/Labrys etc and wins the heart of fan favorite Naoto and inexplicably turns into a bike.
Seriously, why does he turn into a bike? (In universe I mean. I've read that the out of universe reason being that Soejima likes motorcycles)

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Maybe the creator of the dumbass likes bikes?
It seems to be such a useless feature besides make faux-UST with Naoto.
Any news about his sister that works at Junes?
Not that I know of.
I wouldn't be surprised if she was also a super secret Anti-Shadow weapon too though.
Oh, one more thing: The last name "Kurogami" is taken from Genesis's dead creator, Yuri Kurogami.
Since these are Kirijo Group scientists involved in the 1999 experiments who also was part of the development of the robots, I suspect that Yuri Kurogami and Sousei's current boss (Tetsuma Tsuge) are grade A douchebags.

Speaking of manga discussions, here's a funny one-shot on how someone thinks Mitsuru got her coat in Persona 4 Arena.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Also, that is another reason I think that Genesis would be less effective: How much do you think his creator had to fuck around with the design of the Anti-Shadow robot to incorporate a motorcycle transformation? I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of his systems had to be neutered or downgraded just to work that in.
On a less "me ranting about stupid things" note: I could totally see Akihiko beating up polar bears to make a fur coat for Mitsuru. I doubt she'd wear it if she knew where it came from though.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Well, he had to get those scars from somewhere...
Song of the SirensThe coat is probably made of money.
Just because.
So the inside is a bunch of dollar bills sewed together?

I sure said that!Oh woah!
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.
Kanji seems to get a bit tongue tied around her during his story mode in Arena. And he thinks it's a dream.
