I'm very confused about why "NIS America" is/was the European publisher.

Because Atlus and SEGA of Europe does nothing actually in Europe.

P5 is going to be in the May 12th Dengeki Playstation issue so we're probably getting a trailer and the japanese release date(which will probably be far away from all the SE JRPGs launching this year since Atlus have waited this long for them all to be revealed).

I want to be mad at potentially losing Persona 5, but I can't be too mad after how long it took for me to get news on a few other games from Japanese developers like Fire Emblem Fates.

If I do get a release date at all I'll be happy, but if I really must I'll just get it from the US for use on my PS 4.

Figured that I'd mention here that the Character page for Arena requires splitting because it's finally gotten too big, and was wondering how it should be split.

Characters that originally appeared in Persona 4 Arena and Arena Ultimax.

I say divide along the lines that the page is already separated: Shadow Operatives; Investigation Team; Unaffiliated Fighters and NPCS (combine those since they're probably going to be smaller), Antagonists.

I think this may confirm in and of itself that we're getting a release this year.

It's the announcement of the announcement where they'll announce that a release announcement is coming by the end of the year.

The announcement is same trailer we have seen before and a censored image of the cover.

Still sort of angry at how Sega/Atlus focus 100% on Japan for events like these. There aren't even streams for people outside Japan! Compare the very available FFXV event to this and the difference between where they want the game to sell is clear.
