Tetron's room, before it disappears, has him imprisoned, as opposed to being a throne in the normal game. Built by Flip Hero in order to help him train?

I sort of considered it a caged clone of Tetron that is released to do battle.

For the record, Daniel, is the comment about the Russian version implying that the translation isn't so good, in reference to the running gag in the MSPA of Iji being a terrible writer?

Ok, that's pretty epic. So reallyjoel's dad mode is possible, with tool assist. Or the god like abilities granted to reallyjoel's dad obviously. I'm assuming that video was tool assisted, because I don't think it's physically possible to spam up down left right that fast.

Super Dimensionman: Probably not. Launching Expel at the rate seen in the reallyjoel's dad video would basically require frame-perfect timing, which probably means either a 1/30s reaction time or a 1/60s reaction time.

Fair point. I have to imagine the burning coals would be pretty uncomfortable after a while, too.

That just means you'd have to dodge for longer when killing each boss. No biggie for reallyjoel's dad.

I'm seriously impressed that it's even theoretically possible with a tool assist.

One positive aspect to Annihilation mode, is that it means humanity might have recovered after the ending of Iji, given that it takes place long after and mentions earth.

Quick question: Does beating Hard Boss Rush unlock anything? I know that if I look at the map in Normal boss rush, there appears to be a room after the trophy room.

No, you don't get anything for beating Boss Rush, normal or hard. Besides bragging rights. I've never noticed any extra rooms. I don't bother looking at the map in Boss Rush mode, because there's no point.

Has anyone else found the super-gun AKA gun level X? It's only available in Hero Forever and replaces the 10th upgrade that you collect.

Also, that mode would be so much easier if you didn't stop getting your health refilled once you reach level 10. My best result was level 28, and even then I was going through the last couple of levels with 1 hp and trying to find a single path that was even possible. It's not really hero forever if the game is certainly going to screw you over at some point. </pedant>
