If it's translating, and you three all think you're talking your regular language, then I think misunderstandings are inevitable; I know enough about languages to know they don't match perfectly.
It doesn't work like that with me and the Merikit language, but that's because the Earth Wife actually taught me the language — just magically. I do find, though, that there are Kencyr things I struggle to explain to the Merikit, or Merikit things I struggle to explain to the Kencyr, because the words don't match up.
I think there is something similar translating all of us back and forth with each other, though, isn't there? Because I'm pretty sure you don't know Kens, and that's what I'm hearing. And I'm sure you're hearing me speak — whatever your language is.

I think it's better that that border stays how it is, so that humans and youkai may come and go. You're no doubt aware how much Lady Yuyuko enjoys company, and I'm more than capable of dealing with any troublemakers. ...I suppose you know that too, being me.
