Oh no! Have you filed a police report? Having documentation that your wallet and all IDs were stolen could give you a bit of leeway as far as requesting a birth certificate is concerned, and could help you at the interview ("I don't have a birth certificate and here's why, my request is pending.") Do you have any family that you can contact? In NC, a family member with ID can request your certificate. You can also call the office at (919) 733-3000.

Have you called United Way at 211 yet? If they're anything like Denver's United Way, their website isn't great, but their phone operators are good at finding relevant help.

I hope this helps, and that you can somehow finagle a birth certificate.

I messaged my brother about having him request a birth certificate for me. I'm going to the police station this afternoon. Monday I'm going to go to the organization that helped me get my ID when I first came to North Carolina and see if there's anything they can do to help me - there's a homeless registration program in North Carolina that issues its own separate ID card, so I'm going to see if that's good enough to get my ID back.

There's also been a view expressed about the alt-right using Youtube as their talk radio (you know, as opposed to the other side). Meanwhile, some whine how they're being censored and suppressed by Google and Youtube. Looks fishy to me. There was another alt tech advertising video by the Black Pigeon (mentioned in the article), which mentions Gab. You know? Gab.

But no other comment?

Alt-righters complain all the time about their views being suppressed because it fits into their narrative of persecution. Every time I've found someone who actually gets banned from participating in discussions, it's because either they were trolling leftists or because their views are unquestionably bigoted yet presented as objective fact.

Infogalactic looks like it can safely be lumped in with other self-congratulory outlets.

Welp, life punches me in the fucking face yet again. I go to edit the world 1 time trials together and what do I get? Footage that's fucked at the beginning. Hopefully it's just that one bit I have to re-record.

Bayonetta is a 10/10 video game with a few 0/10 features.

The big one is insta-death QT Es. The second is the Alfiems, which are great on their own, but when you're trying to pure-platinum they're awful. The third one is confusing scripted moments that lead to instadeath if you don't know what you're doing.

I wonder why Killzone doesn't have more of a following here.

I have concerns about Google being an all-encompassing information and tech giant getting into every corner of our lives to learn how to sell ads to us better. I have no issue with how Google handled one sexist asshole writing stuff that made it impossible to put him on effective teams and also, by going public, reflecting badly on the company.

Speaking of technology, I just had a great idea for a prank.

I finished Uncharted:Drake's Fortune. An decent game with plenty of flaws.

I am very critical of Minds.com myself.

Here's my prank idea: hack the TV in my living room so that my dad will get Rickrolled.
