Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

My avatar is a cartoon narwhal. Because why not?
Don't get swallowed by a narwhal. You probably won't survive. Might be the horn, I dunno.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I would say just don't get swallowed by any animal, you know just... As basic advice.
Don't get eaten.
If you are going to get eaten, at least try to say something memetic before you do.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Is it my imagination or does that guy look like Billy the Blue Ranger from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers?
Flora is the most beautiful member of the Winx Club. :)I can see the resemblance, yeah. Not the same person, though.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...It's always been weird to me that in (modern, at least) Hebrew "leviathan" means whale since the thing called "the Leviathan" in the Bible is pretty definitely not a whale. I mean, I haven't met a lot of whales, but I'm pretty sure most of them don't breathe fire or have shield-like scales.
...Actually, since the Pokémon Kyogre is based on the Leviathan, I'm disappointed it's not a Water/Dragon fire-breathing scale-whale.

"We're home, Chewie."The one in Devil May Cry 3 had attributes of both whales and sea serpents.
Flora is the most beautiful member of the Winx Club. :)Well, most creatures I know don't breathe fire at all.
Bombardier beetles fart explosive gas. I mean, that's...kinda like breathing fire.
"We're home, Chewie."Z, are you a bug nerd?
'cept it comes out the other end.

Famous last words of many a kerbal: MOAR BOOSTERS!!!Guys, I think that the whale isn't the focus of the song that Solly was quoting.
GUYS GUYS GUYS
I GOT A JOB INTERVIEW
AT THE LIBRARY OF BIRMINGHAM
WOOOOOOOOO HERE COMES SALARIED POSITION
You're currently a temp, right?
Li'l bit. I mean, I'm no Bogleech, but.
I'm just kind of an animals-in-general nerd, and bugs fall under that umbrella, as much as some people don't seem to think they do.
"We're home, Chewie."Can you tell me where my butterflies went? They usually come to the bushes I plant but there haven't been any this year.
Is it the weather? It's too hot isn't it?
Oh really when?@ Rossydad. I'm currently a "contract worker" (so yeah, a temp) for Birmingham South Libraries. This will be a proper, part-time job with benefits and rights at the Library of Birmingham.
Could be. Like I said, I'm no Bogleech, I don't know a ton of the biology stuff, but it's possible they've migrated to cooler climes.
EDIT: Oh wait, I just saw you said "any this year." Still might be a migratory thing, but I dunno.

"We're home, Chewie."Meatmom sent me some colleges to look up. One of them has an acceptance of 7.8% (and is prestigious), another is really expensive, all the rest are way too big or don't have the major I want.
I'm dead set on two colleges, really (one is in Chicago and is really great, the other is like 10 minutes away). I know I need an extra college just in case, but my search isn't yielding too much. Then again my preferred major is screenwriting, which are usually based in big coastal cities. I'm in the Midwest and I don't want to travel far.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.I just miss my bumblebees and hummingbirds and butterflies and other assorted cute things in my yard.
Oh really when?@ Grandchild. Well, I'm sure you'll do great! I believe in you!
This guy had his own air supply, but he made it out.
