Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

One of the mandatory Malay books I had to read was a novel where the protagonist's mother dies of a heart attack literally moments after waking up from a coma... because the protagonist's father (a college lecturer) had married one of his students without divorcing her and inadvertently revealed it to her upon her waking up.
The English mandatory reading was of decidedly higher quality and was much more tolerable.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotSo school years end in June overseas?
I always thought those ended in November/December and started in January.
Anyway, I turned 13 in 2009 (which was the year I was in seventh grade), and am currently 19.
Dragon Riders is canceled and Team Dragon Rise is disbanded. I'm a failure as an administrator of two forums.I wish I had skateboarding skills.

Why is it that people spend $60 on games that haven't a plot and are basically just 8 gameplay hours of Scenery Porn and guns?

Presumably because they like pretty scenery and shooting games.
Rhythm Thief has a barebones cookie-cutter plot, but damned if I haven't spent hours enjoying the minigames.

Hopester!
How is my son this fine afternoon?
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobI'm doing nothing of great importance!
What about you?
I'm bringing the boys with this delicious banana milkshake that I'm making.
Is it as warm down there as it is up here?
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobIt is currently 15 and sunny, with 61% humidity, making it feel much... much... warmer.
Ooft, we're 18 and 46%. Enough to keep most of the windows and doors open.
The downside, of course, being that I can hear bees and/or wasps flying around the house.
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobThat must be a
motherbuzzer.
I wouldn't go that far. Though I have to admit, it is a bit of a
buzzkill
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobI now have a new laptop.

Weird. I don't think we had any compulsory reading in high school. I mean, we read books obviously, but we were always given a few options to choose from, so you'd at least in theory could avoid the dreariest books. That said, I liked most of the books I read, except for Death In Venice. And Suuri Illusioni. Those were terrible.
