If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I measure life in moments. It's just lately I've got this stuff on the brain.

...Kant told us how there could be no escape from this prison or a vision beyond it, only a description of it's contours. We can only guess if the thing outside it is a raging, mad, demon (Schopenhauer, Lovecraft, Zapffe) a dimly-perceived God (Kierkegaard, Tolstoy, Wittgenstein) or, perhaps, nothing at all(Fichte, Hegel, Nietzsche, Deleuze)...

Richard's paradox seems kind of hilarious to me. (Math article, but doesn't use any symbols and is about English)

I've tried measuring my life in seasons, but I can never tell where to designate the season premiere and the season finale.

Life is a duration. Measurement is pointless.

"Measurement" isn't quite the right word. I mean I like to think of my life as if it's happening in seasons.

If it makes you feel any better, that popped into my head, too. And I'm the one who brought it up.

@BLAM: Yes indeed I am. It doesn't do much for my sinuses, but it does help alleviate that feeling you get where one of your nostrils is all dry and ragged from having to carry the weight of breathing.

Season 18 is ending soon for me. Season premiere of the 19th season is coming in January.

I'm just hoping for no sudden plot twists. But character development is always a plus, and I think it's high time the writers attempt writing a relationship here.

Oh, and I hope it doesn't get canceled. *shudders*

Not those kinds of seasons. I mean Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.

It's oddly fitting to say "He had only seen fifteen Summers."

I had my first in-class Troper moment today: someone mentioned how Nick Carraway didn't really seem like part of story sometimes, and how the book looked like it would be more about other characters—

And my brain went, "The Ishmael."

I'm awarding myself a [awesome] for spending way too much time on here.

Watching people debate what I mean is more interesting for me than watching them debate a complaint I had.
