I feel like I’ve dropped out of following the crowd when it comes to cartoons. The Amazing Digital Circus, Invincible, and Puss in Boots: the Last Wish to name a few. I was impressed but not engrossed, I wonder why.

I’ve been watching Dave Filoni’s work on Star Wars. It’s making me realize how the prequels’ lore works well on its own. The Jedi practice the Force and they are in charge of the Clone Troopers. Regardless of the Clones’ mentality, I’m certain one would want to practice too. If they did, I think they’d become overpowered.

If only the the three trilogies weren’t under the same umbrella…

In another sign of how great Arbor Day is, my work schedule for next week looks surprisingly good for the week before my vacation.

I have a complicated relationship with birds. I don't have full-on ornithophobia, but I really hate having them come near me, and the flapping noise of their wings can freak me out. I'm especially wary of small twitchy birds. This applies particularly if the birds are flying indoors, like with my in-laws who have live cockatiels flying around in their apartment. However, I have no problems with birds when outdoors, and as long as they keep a minimum distance. I actually like wild birds quite a bit when they are outdoors and can be observed from afar. There are a few in particular that alwasy make me happy to see, such as ravens, rooks, cranes and bullfinches.

I remember one of our troper friends Raspy Mink had a good laugh when I told her that one time it sounded like a Canada goose gave me the raspberry. XD
