I may or may not had posted something like this before but still I noticed how most of the stories on the wiki get rated as either cynical or idealistic but is there ever a case they simply just say, it neither depressing or a barrel full of laughs? I mean we all experience different things and perspectives can change depending on mood but still how can be in the middle or all over the scale?

Plenty of works fit in the middle.

Is it really related to mood, though? An overall depressing story can still be fairly idealistic.
