Annie's Boobs is back! As are Annie's boobs. (That's not an Incredibly Lame Pun, but it should be.)

Great episode. Supplemented by the inclusion of Annie's funbags.

Hey - so if Shirley got pregnant at Halloween, and everyone there got roofied - what would that do to the baby?

But she didn't get roofied.

^ Everyone got roofied to make them forget about the incident. Seeing as Shirley forgot i think she got roofied.

As for roofies and pregnancy, Something I read said:

"Hallucinogens, such as methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA, or Ecstasy), ROHYPNOL, ketamine, methamphetamine, and LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) may, depending on the drug, lead to an increased incidence of spontaneous miscarriage, premature delivery, or fetal/neonatal withdrawal syndrome."

A possible drama episode regarding a convenient miscarriage? I wonder if the writers had planned all of that, it's going to be really hard to go back and rewatch that ep if this is how it turns out.

On the other hand, it was only once, and just after conception...man this is confusing to work out.

Ah, right, I thought "Roofies" was just a cover-up. I have no idea what they do.

And then she doesn't even know about it. Troy's the only person who does. So she can't even get care just in case something does happen...Fridge Horror ahoy. Meep.

Here's a screenshot of the upcoming Christmas Episode that will be completely claymation:

1.

Apparently the ep will be canon, I wonder how they'll work that ep into the series as a whole.

Also, this weeks ep was hilarious. I guess Jeff/Annie is quickly becoming the official couple with the level of ship tease in this ep.

Nah, Jeff/Britta's still in play. Did you see that look she gave them when she realized how close they were? And remember how oblivious Jeff was to Annie's "acting".

I've been watching some interviews and stuff on their Youtube channel, but seriously is Alison Brie doing something with her voice when she plays Annie. I can't put my finger on it but she seems like a completely different person in the interviews, not just personalitywise but the way she talks and everything. So weird...

Wow this ep was pretty dark. And it was good to see a Troy and Annie moment that wasn't a stupid ship tease, I mean a lot of other shows out there wouldn't be able to resist them kissing or some other stupid thing like that.

Also I saw a preview of the stop motion ep on their youtube page. Looks awesome and it seems like it's all a complete delusion of abed's. I suppose that should've been obvious with a title like "Abed's uncontrollable christmas".

Also, given that their study group is for Anthropology, what the hell has Prof Duncan been teaching them that they would need to cram for assessments?

I thought this week's episode was fantastic. I definitely agree that it was awesome that they resisted the ship tease between Troy and Annie where it would be obvious, and I thought the whole epsiode was really well put together in general - Troy realized that he was grown up, (being the one to drive everyone home and realizing that the people he looked up to were as dumb as he was) and all he really wanted to do was drive the car as a right of passage, he didn't need the drink. I liked Annie's fascade and her realization that it was hard to be who she was, and Troy's "You're Annie!" I liked that Jeff and Britta were arguing about the same place... I was thoroughly satisfied.

As a 20 year old gay Aspie who's sober despite the strange reactions it gets from others, a lot of stuff in this episode resonated in strange ways. The Abed storyline because of a similar situation (although in my case I was oblivious, and I would have probably been enthusiastic if I realized...]], the Troy storyline because of the pressure to celebrate passing legal age. (Its 18 or so here though, but I still haven't.) Annie planning out her life because she has no idea what to do with herself as well, but I'm lazier than her....

.....Cool story, huh? Annnnyway, do you think this would have been a good Christmas episode? To quote AV Club: My point (and I do have one) is this: The stop-motion episode is going to be fantastic, but this episode of Community should have been the Christmas episode. It's an episode entirely about how lonely these people would be if they didn't have each other. It's an episode about how having each other gives them the freedom to explore the kinds of people they wish to become. And it's an episode about how, at the end of the day, they'll be there for each other, even in the pits of their greatest disappointments. Festive joy and singing carols are fun, but there's something to be said for reflection, for an earned moment of sentiment (like that scene between Troy and Annie), for snatching happiness from a place where despair could just as easily exist or vice versa. And what's more Christmas-y than that?

Edited: Wow, they had Annie living in a bad neighbourhood planned since the start of Season 2. Note the Window.

Maybe it's symbolic of her unrealistic romantic expectations? I mean, hoping that her Prince Charming will come along and sweep her off her feet and the whole Disney fairytale. Troy didn't do that, and Jeff didn't do that, and that doesn't seem like a place the show would be going with how almost sociopathic everyone's been.

Or maybe she's supposed to be triangling between Jeff and Troy later on - Jeff, the aloof cool guy, and Troy, the everyman.

Or, you know, just a pop culture reference. Shirley's supposed to like Twilight, too.
