Okay, this week's episode made my brain hurt. Did Abed just make a meta-commentary on the show's meta-commentary, and then make a meta-commentary about that? And then make a meta-oh, I've gone cross-eyed.
We're not just men of science, we're men of TROPE!"Prepare to face the power of IMAGINATION........okay I don't know why I thought that would work..."
This Halloween episode is easily in my top three faves! SO AWESOME!!
I love community, but what's with the bile on IMDB?
There was this massive hatred over the episode with Abed going extremely meta and there are heaps of threads about season 2 being a massive drop in quality and how it's soooo disappointing how the show hasn't found its legs or something.
I haven't noticed that about any of season 2. I mean the crazy love triangle thing in the first ep was a bit awkward but it was dealt with and wrapped up quite nicely so...what's so bad about this season?
Nothing, I friggin' love this season. Last week's meta episode was my least favorite, but that's only relative to the fantastic quality of the episodes.
Rawr! The zombie episode is up there with Spaced's zombie episode.
Now, if only Simon Pegg and Nick Frost could guest star in one episode, then my life would be complete.
Ok saw the halloween epi, that was awesome. Loved it.
And dear god Dean Pelton as Gaga was uncanny.
Off-topic to the extreme, but alliterator, is your avatar from Wally West's series? Because if so that is extremely awesome.
Rawr!Yes. Mark Waid for the win!
Because "Epidemiology" was so troperrific, I created a recap page for it.

^ Was reading the page for Epidemiology. I'm a little confused now.
So what exactly happened? How did they get cured? The bit with the roofies at the end made me think that it was just a really messed up drug induced thing where the roofies made everyone act like zombies for some reason, but it was actually the Suits that drugged them to make them forget?
Mark Waid for the win indeed! Wally West = my favorite super hero ever, and Mark Waid's fantastic run on his series = my favorite chunk of comics ever!
Rawr! The MIBs just roofied the whole party so they wouldn't remember.
That episode was a little too over-the-top for this show, but I liked it anyway.
We're not just men of science, we're men of TROPE!i was starting to dubt community but epidemiology brought it back, i think it's this season Modern Warfare

And Pierce Karma Houdini'd like a bitch.

<(-_-<)(>-_-)> "FUSION HA"Pfft, I thought this episode was pretty funny. This show follows formulas and makes them like 20 times cheaper for a bunch of their episodes.
"It's not done, it's going to be a maze!"
What were they referencing that episode with the trampoline subplot?
I laughed heaps at this one, I like how they were able to give everyone some proper screen time. Also, was that Hilary Duff in that episode?
And something else I've been wondering, was I the only one who couldn't stop laughing with the whole "Duh-duh" contest in Art of Discourse? IMDB seems to hate that ep. I mean sure, the kids didn't get what they deserved, but they were just kids being tools, who cares what they say.
@Shadow - Those kids were huge tools, but I loved that episode. Seeing Jeff and Britta conspiring like teenagers was awesome.
And the trampoline part wasn't really a reference to anything specific, just the kinds the of movies where someone finds a private magic world or creature or something, usually kids movies.
Yeah I got that vibe, I just assumed they were referring to something specific.
Also, yeah I loved their whole scheme to take them down. And Shmitty or whatever is such an inherently funny word that I feel like using it in real life.
EDIT: Also on Community's youtube page there's a vid that shows the Human Being's true form. Didn't see that coming tbh. But DON'T LOOK AT THE YOUTUBE COMMENTS FOR IT, they spoil it.

The racist twist was the funniest part of the episode. "It's going to be a maze." Also, Abed-vision is worth freeze-framing.
We're not just men of science, we're men of TROPE!yeah, abed-vision it's damn funny especially because of the sypnosis
"My life is my own" | If you want to contact me privately, please ask first on the forum.Holy Shit there were quite a few bombshells dropped in this episode.
Chang X Shirley has repercussions? ANNIE'S BOOBS IS BACK!
At first I was kinda bothered by the fact that this might be a bottle episode. And then Abed Lampshaded it, and then it got better from there. Also, it was cool that pierce's cast wasn't just ignored after that one episode. Maybe that was the reason for the bottle ep? Cause Pierce wouldn't be able to keep up with the others unless they were all confined in a room?
Also, surely I wasn't the only one who was about to gasp as Annie was unbuttoning her shirt.

Well...of course he was, makes sense to me. I wonder if Danni Pudi is too.
Oh, when Annie stripped off her shirt and got a little bouncy.....oh man.....
Rawr!
Just watched it at the NBC site. After Lost, it's so much fun to watch a show that jumps into all the implications of these characters coinciding and ricocheting off each other in a big explosion. And Betty White was fantastic. And what the hey, Chang's Gollum?
ophelia, you're breaking my heart
