I haven't started it.

I bailed on it when the screaming started ...and didn't stop.

It actually has had less of AAAAAAAAAAAAstas screeching thanks to padding/filler in the later episodes so far.

I wouldn't touch Black Clover with a bargepole.

Is ti that bad?

Umm I would say Fairy Tail is better than Black Clover but yeah and getting the 50 episode treatment just generally makes unfinished series worse in general.

Copious amounts of Filler to reach a non-ending.

All I've heard about Black Clover is how it's a lightweight, mediocre shounen series with all the trappings you'd expect from one.

Mother's Basement breaks down why the anime fails even 5 episodes in.

I knew all of this already. What I DIDN'T know was that it is adapting the chapters at a snails pace! The first chapter is spread out to 4 episodes!! That is going way past the 3-episode rule!

I haven't seen it but for a supposedly bad anime I hear a disproportionate amount about it.

I watch stuff legally as well, but Crunchy's new bitrate can go screw itself with a rusty knife. It only hurts them more in the long run, since pirates can just rip it before the bitrate goes to the dumpster.

I will only watch pirated anime if it's something I cannot live without and yet no one is distributing it here legally. I always try to use Crunchyroll and Funimation and Toonami.

I finished watching the first three episodes of RWBY and noticed nothing different about the bitrate besides maybe the screen being smaller. It's not like the quality is any worse than what you get on your average illegal streaming site.

That, and RWBY looks like crap. Though I like the colors.

To be fair, RWBY was Rooster Teeth's first production of its kind, so teething problems are bound to be there.

RWBY's production have gradually increased along with the run time as it gets more successful and popular. The early stuff is fairly basic, standers by are just shadows etc, but that's what you had sacrifice for some Monty Oum animation on a shoestring budget. Well worth it.

For one, they started using Maya for the show instead of Poser, which offers a smoother production pipeline.

I just started watching Alice to Zouroku a couple of days ago. The first episode was pretty interesting/good, if a little too long. I'm watching it along with Gochi Usa and Gun X Sword.

But how about that Naussica manga

Probably the finest I've seen from Miyazaki.

I've actually heard very glowing impressions about the Nausicaa manga (people putting it alongside other extremely highly-regarded series like Berserk, Vagabond, 20th Century Boys, Jojo Part 7, etc). I find that pretty curious because from what I understand Miyazaki basically only made the manga as an obligation.

I would highly recommend Made in Abyss to you sometime.
