Well, the "G" in "gif" stands for "graphics", which would imply a hard "g" sound.

The 'P' In JPEG stands for 'photographics', so it means it is pronounced 'J-pheg', right?
I mean, I do pronounce with that "hard g", but this is a silly argument. Then again, it is a silly discussion to begin with.

I have gotten into more than one online argument about why Force Lightning is considered a Dark Side power and fighting over the pronunciation of .gif is too nerdy even for me.

@Red Savant: Guaranteed dark. Power used by dipping your psyche into raw anger (see: several points in the Revenge of the Sith novel) should not be considered Light Side, ever.

I mean, he Force Pushes them into walls, seemingly by the throat and in a manner that is basically choking them with the Force, based off their reactions.
Addendum: Heatth's the right one here. There are words starting with g that are pronounced soft; such as genuine. Society's decided nothing but that it's pronounced either way.

I guess Luke would be Lord of Hope and Anakin Lord of Rage. Maybe Heirs instead of Lords since they kind of inherit their positions from their mentors. I thought about Seer of Hope for Obi Wan but he played a fairly active role for his part so something like, Knight of Light seems more appropriate. Maybe breath. Seer of Hope seems to fit Yoda more than anything. Lord seems to fit Palpatine but I like the idea of him being a Seer of Rage to add to the duality of Luke and Anakin.

1. A P is only pronounced like that when an H follows it, which it doesn't in the abbreviation.
2. It wasn't a serious argument to begin with.

I'd see him more of a Rage guy frankly but I don't know how well that works for when he's actually Vader. Hm...
Luke is Hope, I think, and Obi-Wan being Light would make zero sense. Hope could work for him, and Yoda; if you think Seer would work, but be too passive, perhaps Mage is what you're looking for?

Only if you get shot heroically helping someone.
If you are e.g. giving a hungry person a sandwich, and get "sucker stabbed"(/" sucker shot") by someone you were unaware of, chances are that will not count as Heroic, and you will revive, given that you are god tier.

Heh, suddenly when I think of "point-and-click" I'm reminded of some old Humongous games I played when I was younger. Freddi Fish, Spy Fox, Fatty Bear...I wonder if Hiveswap is going to be as easy as those games? Maybe some combat, but mostly just exploring...
