Pretty sure I've seen at least one species swap but I can't think of it at the moment.

I've decided to not read that comic. I hate it when stories that portray villains as sympathetic, or simply as viewpoint characters, resort to portraying traditional hero types as petty jerks. It's a really cheap and lazy way to write, possibly because the author couldn't think of any other way to make the premise work.

Also, Brawl In The Family ends on October 3. I will miss it dearly.

If it helps, it's not that the hero is a jerk and the villain is nice. It quickly turns out (very minor spoiler) that the villain is not quite a villain and the hero is not quite a hero, those being pretty much just names they give themselves.

@Doctrain: I get what your saying, but it all falls down to execution for me. Maleficent was a good acted movie, but what they did with the plot really didn't do it any favors. The grey area was almost invisible. Dr. Horrible did it, and while I liked it, that did stand out a bit.

Sometimes it almost feels like the author is jumping up and down screaming "See! See! it's different!" Can't say that about the webcomic though as I haven't read it.

Yeah, Maleficent's plot wasn't good :/ Also I have that webcomic in my To Read List, if I'm not mistaken.

This is not SBAHJ. It has too much plot. Intentional typos don't make it shitty. The art is clearly professional, especially that shirt! Madaco, you are much better than Green at replicating SBAHJ

Sorry guys, but I call Updates for homestuck proper upd8. I used to call PXS updates Upderp because of Ms Ami Classified, but I switched to just normal update because I looked like a rip-off tool.

Are there tools people can use to plagiarize more effectively?
