I like Repo! and this is the closest Repo!stuck video I can find with a cast I like. The only one I don't like is having the Grand Highblood as Rotti Largo, mainly because Gamzee being Nathan makes things awkward and I like Gamzee as Nathan. I also don't think that it fits that well...I dunno who would have fit better though.

New people! Yay! As resident fangirl archivist, it's my pleasure to ask what fanfictions you've come across in your travels, whether you favor any pairings, and suchlike fandom-related activities.

Also, hello new people.

I download the better fanfics so I can reread them when I don't have internet access and I need to conserve battery power. It also serves as a quick reference for recommending fics to other connoisseurs. Which reminds me, I need to clean up my folder. Loaded Key turned out to not have been worth the trouble, and I still need to get a working download of Strider's Edge and the latest Hemostuck.

So why all the new posters all of a sudden? I jumped back in because of the Alpha Session. What about you guys?

I haven't really gotten into the big fanfictions yet. But I think I'll try "Be the Sea Dweller Lowblood" in a bit. And "Don't Name It".

Hm, you can try Be the Lowblooded Seadweller, because it's a really neat concept. It's gone further than most fanadventures, yeah. But several people here have found that it gets rather irritating halfway through, mostly because of annoying fantrolls that get blown up out of proportion. I prefer the Hemostuck series. The writing is more challenging, and the art is gorgeous, but anyone here can tell you I'm biased towards the artist.

'Don't Name It'... Let's see, what was that one again? Oh yeah, the one started by Calamity Jane! As I recall, that was pretty good!

Here's some fanfiction I recommend.

BLUH if anyone wants to read "Be the Handmaid", you really ought to follow the link to Tumblr in the author's notes and read it there rather reading than the version hosted on Archive Of Our Own. The text is the same in both, but the presentation on Tumblr is just better.

Regarding "Be the Seadweller Lowblood", I didn't think the fantrolls hogged the spotlight that badly. And even if they did, the trollified versions of the human kids and the Midnight Crew totally made up for it.

What I didn't like about BTSDLB was the annoying amount of focus that the author put on "do eridan and nepeta really love each other or not? its a mystery~~~" and when the whole plot started revolving around that I just threw my hands up and walked away. The dialogue wasn't particularly well-written either. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good enough to convince me to endure the relationship shenanigans. Also I had been promised HATE PLAYA Karkat and all I got was a lazy guy who made a horrible script.

The Bible commandith "Suffer not an Eridan to copulate." Or it will if you give me two minutes and a pencil.

So this is awesome, and has inspired me to want to do something similar. If you kindly folks in the voice acting group have anything new to share, it'd be cool to try and animate that. If not, I'll just go through what we've already done to see if there are any quality clips I can use.
