But is it worse than ice?
... Resists one and is weak to four, but at least no quad damage?
Also "four times weak" sounds like it should be 16 times damage, since "weak to <type>" means double damage, so "double weak" is four times damage.
Unless "weak to <type>" has started to mean "1x damage" which I think is just called "Neutral damage"

Just wait until they pull a weird one like Normal/Ghost.
thought it was a little silly how a few of the Gen 6 Mons have Normal tacked on them. I mean, It's only one more weakness and an immunity, but there's hardly much of a reason if you ask me.
Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane.x4 weak means it would do 4 times the amount it damage it would normally do, the x1 damage.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*I know what you mean, but the way it sounds is wrong to me.
"Weak" means double damage, yes?
So by that logic, "2x weak" is "2x double damage" which would be 4x damage.
So when you say "4x weak" it just sort of escalates to "four times double damage" in my mind, which should be either 8x damage or 16x damage, depending how you decide the math should be done...
It's pretty obvious that Gamefreak wants to fill in the type combination chart. I imagine a lot of Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Galvantula, and Hawlucha were created around the unique type combination first, actual design second, while some such as Pyroar and Heliolisk had a Normal type tacked on just to check that combo off the list.
Not that I'm complaining.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! That's because you're reading "weak" as "double damage", so you're reading "x4 weak" as 4 x 2, or 2^4. Other people are using x4 as a description of "weak", so x2 weak and x4 weak are two different types of "weak", one being x2 damage and other x4 damage.

Pyroar being Normal/Fire is something I have to try and remember.
It helps that your opponent wasn't very bright.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseBeen playing through B2W2 PWT and noticed something.
The game says that legendary and mythical Pokemon can't participate. However, I can use Pokemon like Terrakion and Tornadus just fine. Apparently non box art trios are not counted as legendary in game.

Non Indicative UsernameWhen Pokemon bans "legendary" Pokemon, it means Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Manaphy, Phione, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Hoopa, and Volcanion.
Anything else is fair game.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! That's always been the case. Every battle facility and standard official tournament rules ban box legends + Mewtwo, but allow any other non-event legendary.
Actually, as far I can find the Japanese version refers to the banned Pokemon as "legendary class" Pokemon, instead of just "legendary" Pokemon.
Box legends + Mythical + Mewtwo + Deoxys + Zygarde
Non Indicative UsernameDeoxys is still considered a Mythical Pokemon. But yeah, I guess Zygarde isn't a box legend...
I wonder if they'll bother to block Mews from the Mew Glitch coming in.
It'll be an unofficial ex-Mythic too, in that case.
I'm not sure if they'll be able to block Mew Glitch generated mons, because I don't believe RBY keeps track of where you captured something (which would give away that they're glitched). They will obviously be able to block Missingno. and co. because the games don't recognize them as real mons.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? It'd be easy enough to block it if they really wanted.
Just prevent Mews that aren't from events from getting in, or that weren't caught on Faraway Island, which is still to date the only legal way to capture one iirc.
I don't think RBY's code recognizes events unless they've modded it more than we realize. Unless they did it based off of Trainer ID.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? It's possible there's something going on in the background of the VC releases that we don't know about.
But yeah. It's not really that huge an issue (or as well known outside the more dedicated fandom as we might think) that they'd take too many more steps than the bare minimum to block them.
I really hope I can transfer Mew. I really do.

I sure said that!Yes.
Though you were talking to a guy using a non-Scarfed Ditto, so he really wasn't in a position to question your choice.

Psychic/Dark is a strange typing.
x4 weak to Bug, x2 to Fairy, immune to Psychic, and resists nothing.
