I think that he's just subject to the same cultural pressures as most horror writers- It's pretty thoroughly ingrained in much of modern society that bad things happening to a woman are scarier than bad things happening to a man- Final Girl is a trope for a reason.
So, I mean, it's sexiest, but it isn't willfully sexist, if that makes any sense.
I sure said that!Or, with only two pictures, and a 50/50 choice of the gender of human subjects, he happened to pick them both the same.
Alternatively, he intentionally chose two girls as a good thing. You're not going to run into Ghost-types unless you're a Trainer, and they're just about the coolest adventurers you're going to meet. But as Halloween pictures, they're supposed to be kinda scary.
Am I wrong for not finding any of these artworks all that impressive so far?
Damn, that's can always happen when you rely on moves like Focus Blast and Hydro Pump but all those misses.
These images aren't meant to evoke a feeling of awe or impression in the viewer, it's more a case where you're meant to be surprised that a famous horror manga artist is being comissioned to illustrate for one of the most squeaky-clean japanese franchises to ever exist. If you don't have any prior grounding in Mr. Ito's work then you're not going to enjoy any of these pokemon pictures very much.

Ha!
I went to EB to get a Diancie code (and take care of a couple other things) and they still had some Shiny Gengar codes!
Woo!
...So did you actually get the Diancie code? They're still doing the Gengar thing for a few more days.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyWhere can you get Diancie codes?
Wait...Diancie is finally here!
You get Diancie the same way you get Gengar. It's been running for a little over a week now, and goes until the middle of November.
Demonfly: Yes. Diancie's been running for a little over a week already.

Shit, I'd better get to my local gamestop soon.
Yes! Do!
That's strange since everywhere says Diancie isn't out until October 27.
In my defense, an Azumarill on a mono-Water team needs to have Sap Sipper.
Heart of StoneI didn't look there. Serebii says October 27, and the one page I found on the official site says the 27th. Actually, there's a picture◊ on that Bulbapedia page that says the 27th.
Didn't he realize that wasn't Braviary? Didn't Stealth Rock give it away?
Heart of StoneI'm honestly not sure. Also, for those who can't tell, my team is themed after Team Fortress 2.

Any idea why ANYONE even remotely familiar with how Pokemon works would run Life Orb on a Chansey?
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Same reason they'd put Thunderbolt on Ferrothorn. I'll let you figure out the reason yourself.
They're playing a metagame so advanced we can't even being to comprehend their strategy.
Oh really when?
i don't think it's really meant to come across that way. both genders have it pretty bad in uzumaki, i don't think there's much to his choice of having a woman be attacked by a gengar as opposed to anything else
